Does anyone have an older version of their default_ssl.pak? I want to check whether my theory has any value...

Yeah, if you have backup of 5.1 default_ssl.pak, mind giving it? Also the server sided one too.

Oh, well. Thank you, works now.

I was able to play a bit with it.

1. It doesn't allow you to join games of randoms, it kicked me out few seconds after I get into play.
2. It does allow pak changes, as well as CE/trainer functions, including those that are about progression (lock of cosmetics, currency, etc). They do no revert back.
3. However, my favorite ''pick all weapon perks'' is getting reversed back after the change. Which for me makes it not usable, as it's my only goal.

I appreciate the effort, whoever works on this one.

Oh, well. Thank you, works now.

I was able to play a bit with it.

1. This is normal i think, devs don't want people to ruin the experience for others so it only works on private lobbies and you get automatically kicked when joining others
3. There might be some server-side check for this unfortunately

Any chance to get a public bypass for mods? Not everyone have a lot friends playing this game :)

if you're using this, please report back Kicks and Detections with whatever information you have that can contextualize it: private/public mode, were you the host, were you using modified PAKs or not, were others in your squad using the bypass, etc.
Public lobby kicks quite fast into the match with "Mods Detected" status in top right corner even if no mods other than the bypass files are present.
You'd need some cache spoofing or disable it altogether from exe?

no public bypass here, sorry. i'm sure they're out there, but they're from folks smarter than me (and probably only available for a fee). best practice seems to be Private sessions where you invite others to join you once the mission starts.

if someone has a paid version that works, send it to me and i'll be able to recreate what they've done but i'm not holding my breath, nor should anyone else

Game has had a hotfix to 6.2. Im still using the 6.1a bypass and its still working in private mode with no detection or issues. Im sure the tech wizards here will find out if a new bypass needs to be made until 7.0

that will only connect and run the v6.1 game. if you want to take advantage of the hotfixes (decreased spore mine instances, Perk adjustments, etc) then you'll need v6.2.

i don't expect to be able to get a version that's available for public again.

Many fixes would alter .pak files, not .exe files. So the alterations done to .pak files should still be in-game even if the .exe is different. Interesting that the 6.1 bypass still works though. That being said, it's bound to make *something* break spectacularly. Going to wait for the 6.2 files I think. Keep up the good work!

this has only been tested in solo Private mode. it will allow Cheat Engine use while on the Battle Barge.

i'm at the limit of my capacity to have safe insights into how to do this (i've suffered a few wipes while testing that i do not wish to replicate, it's a pain in the ass to restore lost progress even with Cheat Engine) so i don't expect my implementation will be able to improve beyond what this is capable of.

did you replace both files as per the readme.txt? are you using modified PAK files that haven't been updated to v6.2?

what does "does not start" mean, exactly? what popups or additional information can you provide?

i've tested it from my end; if it doesn't work for you then i'm unsure what i can do without more information.
