Space Marine 2 patched exe
Re: Space Marine 2 patched exe
Yeah, same. As soon as the intro cutscene in the operation ends == kick from the public cause "mods detected"

Re: Space Marine 2 patched exe
They didn't ban even pvp cheaters for all I know.
Ngl, that's pretty annoying, they promised mod support, instead all I see is fight against windmills. If @doobiedoo won't come up with an idea, I'll check out private lobbies and see what can be done.ShootEmUpGuy wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 6:17 pmYes, I just loaded into online and it did indeed kick me stating Mods Detected. Then A UI popped up stating about an automated report has been filed for modified game files. Well, I guess there is now some form of other check on their end.

From what I know mods (no online fix) forcing people into offline lobbies is not intendedKlerik wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 4:40 amNgl, that's pretty annoying, they promised mod support, instead all I see is fight against windmills. Re: Space Marine 2 patched exe
They absolutely did promise mod support, which makes the current situation all the more disheartening. I genuinely enjoy the experience of playing with friends in private lobbies, and it’s frustrating to see measures that seem to alienate the very community that keeps the game alive. I truly appreciate the time and effort you and @doobiedoo put into finding solutions. If you manage to develop a patch, it would mean a lot—not just to me, but to many of us who still love this game despite its flaws.Klerik wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 4:40 amThey didn't ban even pvp cheaters for all I know.

Re: Space Marine 2 patched exe
Patch 6.1 is out. Looks like mods are back to online/private. EAC changed too, the devs say an overaggressive EAC was the reason for the mod errors in the first place. EAC files added to install:
Added – EasyAntiCheat/SettingsProfile.json (480 B)
Added – EasyAntiCheat/SettingsRelease.json (480 B)
Modified – EasyAntiCheat/Certificates/base.bin (-24 B)
Full file list here: [Link]

Re: Space Marine 2 patched exe
besides the mod problem,
is there anybody who know solution about this?
Re: Space Marine 2 patched exe
new bypass is up at...
v6.1, deprecated.
NEWER VERSION v6.1a (please report if this works or your troubles w it!) [Link]
pwd to access files is...
frf
NOTE: this can only go online in Private mode. still not sure how to have Public access. that might be for the best since it means this bypass can't be used in PvP.
Please report any issues, i'm frankly not as good at this stuff as Klerik and i might've missed something.

Re: Space Marine 2 patched exe
hmm seem to be getting mods detected message after using this updated bypass. Gonna keep trying, in case it's something on my end.

Re: Space Marine 2 patched exe
Hey, thanks so much for sharing the 6.1 .exe bypass! Really appreciate the effort you put into this. I’ve been testing it with some friends in a private game, and for the most part, it works great. The only issue we’ve run into is that it sometimes randomly kicks players when re-joining the Launch Bay. When that happens, trying to rejoin using the session code doesn’t seem to work—the game doesn’t recognize it. The only way I've managed to mitigate that is by restarting myself as host, so a new session code is generated. Also, on starting some operations triggers the modded files UI (This only happened twice however) Just wanted to share in case anyone else is running into the same thing. Thanks again!doobiedoo wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2025 3:08 pmnew bypass is up at...

Re: Space Marine 2 patched exe
New in 6.1 is seemingly how the game discriminates on how the game is launched. Not launching the game trough the steam shortcut or play button is undefined behaviour and will upset the increasingly irritable anticheat.
Re: Space Marine 2 patched exe
interesting, this is good stuff. just to make sure i'm understanding what you're reporting i've repeated my understanding below:ShootEmUpGuy wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2025 4:46 pmHey, thanks so much for sharing the 6.1 .exe bypass! 1, sometimes after a mission, your squadmates may get kicked, in which case you have to restart, set yourself as host, and send them new invite codes in order to reconstitute your squad.
2, mods are still sometimes detected even in private mode.
please clarify if my understanding is correct.
based on the above, i have some questions:
250214_01 - are they also running modded PAKs and/or using the bypass?
250214_02 - who was hosting these sessions (ie., who was choosing the mission)? if at all possible, tie them to the events you've noted (squadmates kicked, mods detected)
250214_03 - how often do each of these issues (squadmates kicked after mission, mods detected) come up? for example you've had mods detected twice, but out of how many runs? how often are squadmates kicked?
