Yep, guess I am completely screwed....Awesome...not that CH 4 took super long to get to.. I mean...only 23 hours right?...The craftsmen level thing really screwed me. Thinking it would unlock the rest of the recipes when I used the cheat, I made all the recipes I had at level 1, and now I have nothing left to make even if I edit the script to bring me back down, I changed it to 100 and it put me at level 3, and I have two things I can make in the equipment section, however...surprise.. I can't make them because you can't buy copper bracers or woodsprite armlets, so I can't make the upgraded versions to fix the issue. This might of just ruined the whole game for me I really don't feel like 100%'ing the grasslands again before moving on to Junon. Does anyone happen to have a fix or solution? Would really appreciate it. I really thought for some reason the recipes were just progress locked or something...
Make backup saves and dont cheat with your brain turned off, lesson learned i guess :)

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

I'm confused. You said you have 2 things to make. I assume you mean you can still get EXP from transmuting an enhanced copper bracer/woodsprite armlet for the first time, can't you just transmute a regular copper bracer and then enhance it? You can transmute items as much as you want, provided you have the materials, you just only get EXP the first time you transmute an item, but you can still transmute as many times as you want. Also, no, your game is not ruined. I am sure there are flags that can be unset, but as far as my expertise goes, I can't help, but I can tell you that it is possible to fix things, provided the right expert can help.

Also, there is a table on another thread that has an armor editor. You can buy some basic armor from a shop and then change it to copper bracer/woodsprite armlet and enhance it, but again, I don't see why you can't just go in and transmute another copper bracer/woodsprite armlet and then enhance it. Don't lose hope, bud. I'm confident there is a solution.
Nope, you have to make copper bracers yourself (unless I am mistaken?), and for some reason i don't have them available to make, only the enhanced versions. I actually really appreciate you responding to my comment. I also appreciate the advice.
Yes, I know you can make the bracers yourself, but you can transmute items more than once. Can't you transmute it again or are you locked out? Again, you can transmute the same item more than once as long as you have the materials, even if it has a blue check mark where the exp value usually is.

Regardless, even if you can't make another copper bracer, download the other table that has an armor editor. Buy a basic armor from any shop, and then go into the editor and change it to a copper bracer, and then enhance it. Hopefully that fixes your issue. I hope this helps, I love this game, and I hope this doesn't ruin it for you but I would feel the same way if I were you and I had to restart. Let's try to save your progress.

Also, piece of advice, and this is meant kindly, make multiple saves. I usually make a save right before every big fight so that in case I wanna go back and play a boss fight or something, I have it. They also act as backups in case I mess up with cheats as a bonus.

Edit: One more thing, make a save before you try to fix this, so that if it doesn't work, you're not stuck. Like for example, if you go and use the table to get the copper bracer, then you try to enhance it but the exp value is not enough to push your crafts level up, make a save prior to doing anything so you can go and mess around with it again to try to fix it.

Will you be updating to include the Gold Saucer and other later minigames, like the cactuar crusher and chocobo one in Cosmo Canyon? Would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue OP and this is how I fixed it - shoutout to @hakamdeebad for pointing out the armor editor.

Step #1 - Go back to the v3 editor (not v3.1 - that comes later) and change the script value for Max Craftmanship Level to 129. Then check and uncheck the box. That should get you 1 point before level 4. Save your game.

You can't make copper and woodsprite items (or level 2 items) and won't be able to, mourn that fact and move on. We can keep gaining more levels and recipes that matter the most - starting with the enhanced versions of those items.

Step #2 - download the armor editor cheat table from this thread- viewtopic.php?f=4&t=33480. Change any basic item you don't want (for me it was the metal bracers) to the copper bracers. Save your game.

Step #3 - By now, the Enhanced Copper Bracers will still say you need craftmanship level 3 to complete. Make sure you have enough materials (you can use any trainer to get you 99 materials of what's in your current inventory). Now go to v3.1 of this trainer which trained the script to focus on missing xp. Change the value to 1 in the script, because you only need 1 to gain a level. Save and reload. If you aren't able to access it (the checkbox won't work) restart the game. You will then see the recipe unlocked and if you have the mats, you will be able to transmute the item and now your craftsmanship will no longer be bricked.

Problem solved! dun dun dun dun dun duh duh! Hopefully this helped and thanks to everyone who helped me figure out this workaround that took three trainers to fix.

Yup! This is exactly what I had in mind! Apologies that I did not spell it out step by step, but this should resolve it, InsomniaDisorder. I'm glad you were able to fix it for yourself, Blackatreyu. Happy to help.

Where exactly do I need to change the value?

Edit: nvm found it.

Just a word of warning... Something to do with the Companion Cards broke my save. I bought my beach outfit (while the 99 Companion Cards script was on), and now it won't allow me to change outfits so I can go to the beach. Just wanted to save other people from losing hours of their life.

This is all excellent stuff. If I would suggest anything it'd be to add the pull-up/squat, cactuar and Golden Saucer Minigames as well. The Golden Saucer ones especially are time consuming.

Hey! thanks again for replying. Yeah I tried doing that too, making something I already made wont work because you can't gain experience for it. Yeah. Luckily someone uploaded a save file right before the Ch 4 parade thing so I was fine just continuing my save until i 100%'d junon like he did and just used his file from there. Yeah I usually do make multiple saves I don't know what I was thinking!

I am highly surprised I haven't seen anything for the mini games in Cosmo Canyon yet. Gears and Gambits is the bane of my existance and would love to finally get that out of the way without issue.
