Beginner's question regarding automatization (Stardew Valley)

Post by amendi »

Hello guys!

I am new to this forum and somewhat new to Cheat Engine, hence i am writing this quesion.
I have been trying out modyfying values in Stardew Valley (money, amount of items, etc) and i wonder one thing.
Is is possible to save your adresses to certain things in game so you don't have to re-search them every time you launch the game?

Thanks, and sorry in advance if i am posting this in the wrong category or sth.

You'll want to look into "pointers" and even CE's "pointer scanner". But I tend to go with "code Injection". Just do a bit of googling, there are plenty of tutorials both text and video.

You should also look at doing the CE tutorial it has a lot of good information:

And this forum has a tutorials section, with a lot of the tuts from the CE Wiki; so you can leave comments/questions there even.

If you don't want to re-invent the wheel, then there are multiple options already available.
There is a table available on this forum which has ton of cheats: viewtopic.php?t=2129

And some cool mods are available here:
-Automate 1.10.1 by Pathoschild | Lets you automate crafting machines, fruit trees, and more by connecting them to chests.
-CJB Cheats Menu by CJ Bok | Simple in-game cheats menu! 1.18: https://www.fearlessrevolution.com/stardewvalley/mods/4
-CJB Show Item Sell Price 1.9: https://www.fearlessrevolution.com/stardewvalley/mods/5
-Console Commands 2.6 by SMAPI | Adds SMAPI console commands that let you manipulate the game.
-GiftTasteHelper 2.8-beta by tstaples (aka catman) | Displays NPC gift tastes in a handy tooltip.
-LookupAnything 1.19 by Pathoschild | View metadata about anything by pressing a button.
-Save Backup 2.6 by SMAPI | Automatically backs up all your saves once per day into its folder.
-UI Info Suite 1.7.18 by Cdaragorn | Adds a lot of useful information to the user interface. This is based on Demiacle's excellent --UIModSuite. : https://www.fearlessrevolution.com/stardewvalley/mods/1150
-LovedLabels 2.2: https://www.fearlessrevolution.com/stardewvalley/mods/279
-NPC Map Locations 2.1.5-beta: https://www.fearlessrevolution.com/stardewvalley/mods/239

Thank you for response!
Actually I have been studying through those tutorials as well as Yours tutorials here on forum and CE tutorial, but it all seems fairy difficult for me regarding implementing it myself.
Could you maybe provide me with exemplary code or particular steps on how to make CE remember certain value/certain adress?

Thanks

Thanks for links, i am aware of software/mods that had been created by community, but i treat my problem as a reason to learn CE and not take an easy way out of this
