The option to add 50 roll affects enemies in combat. if you turn it on and goes into a combat, most of your attacks will have a 1 - 5 % chance to hit and the enemy hits hard.
Anyone know what to do about the map options? Trying to enable or disable the fog of war makes all maps all black all the time (whether you've been to areas or not). Even restarting the game without Cheat Engine open at all, all maps stay 100% black
Thanks for this, I tested a few but sadly there is no straight black dye and the colours are pretty random regardless, all in all its gunna be a mostly useless dye system until someone mods it for decent colours, unless you want to look like a clown or a vibrant bard ofcourse
So I can use some help if anyone's willing. I'm just trying to get higher stats before playing the game to get an advantage without god-mode, that's all. I downloaded the most recent table v4.1.1.3622274, moved it to the main cheat engine folder(the one with CE exe). I opened the table(by double clicking the table, not starting CE and choosing the table), opened the game, choose the game by clicking the top left button that looks like a monitor with a magnifying glass then clicking the exe for BG3, I click 'keep' to keep the table open while playing the game, load my save(I've tried loading save then choosing game exe in the menu) yet clicking ability stat points to bring down the attributes shows all stats with ?? not the value in game. clicking the ?? doesn't work, and all I can do is double click the name to change it. example double click the name 'strength' gives a prompt to change the name but clicking ?? doesn't give any prompt what-so-ever.
Sorry for the paragraph. Any way to help, even if I'm just trying an old table and I should wait, would be appreciated.
EDIT-I should have added that saving to populate as the table says does NOTHING to the tables values, neither does loading the save created to try to get values to show.
is it possible to downlevel yourself or level up past lvl 12 ?
i want to max all classes on 1 character but i know the character pointers are broken so im wondering how to do that
No. Someone else on another page said that trying results in a crash.
so the only way would be maxing one class, taking note of all the feats, abilities and class specific stuff it has that i want and then respec and add the desired stuff manualy ?
It looks like the devs locked the Attributes to 30.
So anything over 30, which includes bonuses will crash the game.
Well, unless someone finds a way around it and I hope someone does.
I can't believe that I'm the only one that remembers this from first playing around with files from early access...
You're going to need the newest version of LsLib (version 1.8.0). Click on the Pak/Lsv tools tab. You're going to want to extract your Baldur's Gate 3\Data\Shared.pak file to a temp folder somewhere (obviously the path is different depending on where your game is, mine is in my GOG folder). Once you have extracted everything, you can dive into the files. You are looking for Public\Shared\Stats\Generated\Data\Data.txt. There are a lot of things that you can play with in that file, most of which you shouldn't really touch...but one of them is AbilitySoftCap. The default value is 40. You can set this higher, but I usually go for around 120. Then you are looking for AbilityMaxValue (which is much farther down in the text file). I set this to 110. Now you need to save the modified Data.txt file, go back into LsLib and create a package with the temp folder you created as a source and the path you originally extracted from as the package path (you should probably back up the original Shared.pak file at this point just in case). Make sure you have Baldur's Gate 3 release selected under version in the create package section, as well as LZ4 HC for compression. That last bit is important, because it defaults to LZ4, which I believe used to work in early access...but not quite with the launch version. I used it initially and it did function, but some things were not working properly (characters like Astarion in their old outfits, certain item names coming up as null strings, etc.). Once I switched to LZ4 HC, everything has been working smoothly, and I can easily edit my character with the table to have 100 in all stats. This makes rolling trivial as you get a +49 or +50 bonus in everything through your stats. You can still fail if you roll a 1 though. Oh, I forgot to say, hit create package in LsLib . If you didn't backup already, then tough, because it overwrites the file with the new version of Shared.pak it just created.

Can you also edit weapon/armor stats with this same method?
