I plan on marking the locations of treasure chests, pots, wardrobes, bookshelves, etc on maps exported directly from the game data.
I'm not sure how far you plan on taking the data, so this might be over kill, but perhaps if you could convert it to the format used by the BotW map viewer, you could leverage some of its tools. It is under the

On a side note, having the data exported in easier to work with formats
Oh so much to read. Firstly, that is way overkill. It makes sense for BoTW with one map and such a large number of chests, etc. DQ XI is split into like 200 maps, and some have multiple "states." Cobblestone itself has the undestroyed version at the beginning, then destroyed, then a fort gets built, then it disappears again. Ideally, I could make it like that, but I am fundamentally "lazy." Whether or not I actually put the maps I make out there is "iffy" at best, because I may give up part way.
Do not let this stop you from making your own maps as that is one of the main things I like about adventure games.
As I said before you are more than welcome to download the assets, use them however you wish, I do not "own" the rights to them. TGA should be supported by literally everything as it is 30+ years old.
As for the raw map assets,
