Yes, I understand what you mean. Unfortunately, the values in the table aren't constantly refreshed, but rather saved. To make this change effective, you have to get and select the upgrade (level doesn't matter!).
As far as I know, this applies to:
- Dash
- Pickup range
- Movement speed
There could be more, but for those, it's 100%.
And no, the table does not need an update and still works in 16c5

Install Cheat Engine
Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
Keep the list.
Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

The "Items" feature under "Ingame Player Stats" is rather useless for your purposes and is intended for short runs...
You should check out the "Blacksmith Mats" feature. There, all 28 items are listed in order, from the top left to the right
Or if you don't feel like searching for items one by one, you can also use the "Override all Mats (Blacksmith)" function and simply enter a large number, such as "20,000,000", for "Disable"...
This will replace all 28 items in the game with "20,000,000" once you open the "Materials" section in the game.

Does option "override all mats (blacksmith)" mean I can upgrade weapons even if I don't have required mats? Because it's didn't work for me!

If you activate this function, you'll get a new row with the value "Disable."
You can then simply replace the "Disable" value with any number, for example: "20,000,000"...
In this case, all 28 items in the game will be overwritten with "20,000,000" as soon as you open the "Materials" section.
This essentially allows you to level up all weapons without having to farm the materials. However, these changes are permanent, and if you only want to change individual resources, it's better to use the "Blacksmith Mats" function. This allows you to specify more precisely and individually what should be replaced with which value.
In older versions of the table, there used to be an option for "Unlimited Rune Slots". This should allow you to select more than 4 Tenacity runes.

Yes, I know what you mean and have seen this function before... Unfortunately, I'm more of a beginner and can search for simple values and have them changed...
I haven't figured out how to bypass the maximum perk check. As I said, I'm a beginner, and simply changing the check digit doesn't seem to be enough, which is why I don't have this function.

Well, I tried my table in the latest version, and it still works. BabyGroot, on the other hand, doesn't seem to have updated this table for a while, so you can just check the comments here for updates.
People simply upload their version of a table here, and there is a working one (although not as comprehensive as BabyGroot's or other good coders, like NidasBot).
