new iteration. MIGHT have auto-server-kicking disabled so at least you can have custom PAKs with a team. test with caution, mucking w server interactions can go bad and wipe progress.

I made a library that does something similar, in an effort to bypass the server_pc PAKs restrictions, and it seems they have a server side check.

So you were right that is not simple, even though my game is no longer crashing with server_pc PAKs, I am getting kicked from the server.

Just as an FYI, if you don't update you can use the previous bypass and give yourself a ton of Requisition so that when you update you can buy everything. just don't run any missions after you edit it: edit it, update, buy stuff. nothing in between.

I'll see about getting a v8.0 bypass together this week.

only supports Private PvE play (Operations and Siege), as well as Cheat Engine use on the Battle Barge. you'll still get detected if you join someone else's game.

you can use Cheat Engine while in Private Siege to set and lock the Points to its max (9999) using the standard search method (search_amount = base_amount * 8 + 1) and supply yourself with Guardian Relics, Armor Boosts, and Stims at every location. you can always keep up one additional Brother, though it seems you can only have one deployment of Valtus the Dreadnought for every 5 waves.

be sure to deactivate locked values in Cheat Engine BEFORE you end the shooty part of the mission, otherwise the game will crash. you'll get credit for the mission (at least I did), but it'll crash before getting to the stats screen.

if you have adjusted server pak files i think it'll get detected. also, you can't join Public games with them active, i believe there are server-side checks on files that i haven't been able to spoof. a full hack could probably do it but what i'm doing isn't that.

otherwise, be meticulous with your checking: compare the active files (start_protected_game and Retail.exe) with the ORIGINAL and MODIFIED versions (just look at the Modified Date) and make sure that you're using the MODIFIED version for both.

you can still change your client_pc paks. i ran through all 25 Waves of Hard-difficulty Siege mode while testing this, had a tuned-up Volkite and Melta with infinite ammo. the Volkite could delete a Carnifex in a bit over a second of sustained beam.

yes:

1, edit your client_pak/default_other.pak to adjust weapon damage and ammo. special shout-out to adjusting the guardsmen las rifle to do enormous damage, it makes me laugh, they'll just erase hordes.

2, use bypass and modified files to start game

3, go to Siege mode, make it Private, then start a game.

4, use Cheat Engine if you want during play to grant more requisition points to stay stocked on Guardian Relics, med-kits, and armor. search for (search_value = actual_value * 8 + 1)

5, if you have locked values in Cheat Engine, deactivate it when the Siege session ends, before you're in the drop-pod. this avoids a crash but won't affect saved progress, or at least it didn't in my case (i crashed, everything saved).

this should save all progress online.

you need the bypass in order to utilize Cheat Engine while playing:
