Hi…

Just a warning.

I connected my PS game via cloud to steam. Then logged in on steam, completed starpath. Crafted some items. Logged back in to PlayStation - and BOOM :?: banned!

I have had no problem with any of this on steam…… so I don’t know. Does PS have extra detection?
It probably does, not heard any issues yet....but did you play multiplayer? It could be because you completed the star path so quickly?
I did not use multiplayer. At all. I only crafted some items that I didn’t have on PS and then logged back in to PS with new stuff   🙈🫶😅 ….. and got banned… lol - so it could be the starpath or the stuff I crafted… 🙈😅😂 8-)

this really seems farfetched.. im pretty sure youre leaving stuff out here.

using mass modded inventory items, multiplayer or adding unreleased items probably did it.

Not really. I connected my PS to cloud save. Logged in to steam cloud save. So I got my ps game on steam. (Lost my steam game id when I did that). Then I crafted some items and completed starpath. Logged back into PS with new stuff and banned! I did not visit anyone in that time span. So no multiplayer. But yeah I crafted some items 🙈😅😂😂😂

It's just weird because a lot of people haven't had this issue, but I am not sure with PS. It could be the checks PS has in place for it because usually you can't transfer moonstone purchases from one platform to the other (unless they changed that recently).

"The game, Founder's Pack Edition cosmetic items, purchased items, and items purchased with free or platform-specific Moonstones are cross-save compatible on all platforms, except for PlayStation consoles. The content purchased on PlayStation consoles is available on PlayStation only." - so this is probably why tbh it flagged your save because you should not have technically gotten those items on PS4.

Yeah. Well I did craft items and completed starpath. And you can’t mod on PS…. Also. When I signed in to steam with cloud I got mail 8000 moonstones. But it didn’t count on the PS save. Only steam. So on PS the cloud save had different amount (8000 less on PS) and 8000 more on steam ….

Oh but the moonstone purchase I did. It transferred to steam. No problem. Cause I bought something on PS before I did the cloud…. So that got transferred.

When you say a lot of people don’t have this issue. Are any of them on PlayStation? Maybe PlayStation is different? Maybe that’s why it took so long to even get cross save with PS?

Like I said, I’ve not had this problem at all on steam. And I know people don’t have the problem on switch or Xbox. So maybe it’s because PS is a different ecosystem?

Hi, since the memory drop changes, I'm trying to complete all memories with the "Garanted Memory Piece" option of the trainer.
I can't make the Snippets ones work, even if it's listed with Fishing/Cooking/etc and these ones work.
Is it the same for everyone ? Thank you.

Are you on PC Steam? Are you using DDV Steam V1.17.0.18.CT ? Do you already have all the memories? Did you test it MULTIPLE times or just once? (They changed it so if you already have that memory it doesn't give an orb anymore, not even for coins) If not I can't help there, but I just checked and it was working perfectly for me.

I posted above that PS has locks in place, and because of how you edited the save, you probably overwrote the locks in place with your Steam save transferring it to the PS. You are supposed to lose all premium items/currency when you switch from Playstation to Steam and Vice Versa, but because we aren't using traditional methods for unlocking, it was flagged in the system most likely.

What I mean by a lot of people don't have issues, is that people who have been using the crafting to make premiums haven't been banned etc unless they've done some egregious things (selling them/posting online about them etc).

Yes I think you’re right… funny thing that it did transfer the purchase from ps to steam.. but then since I edited the steam it have to be that that triggered in PS when I then reloaded the cloud there. I’m fine with it. It’s no problem for me to be banned on PS. I don’t really use multiplayer - and I was happy with cross save to get my original game, one I’ve played on over 2 years. And be able to add some more stuff, already spent a lot of money on it lol. Anyways it was just a warning for others. Maybe one can try with just «safe» stuff, not starpath or unreleased.. but I’m not going to test it to risk the other PS save. lol. I’m totally fine.

Also I have never sold any ingame items or even distributed it via modding. I use it for me, mostly to edit tom-dresses. That’s what I like, to create designs.

Thank you for all your input and help it’s appreciated.

I have a question about using the star path cheat. I've crafted items into my game before and I understand that they are only tied to that save and not my account. If I start a new save, I'll have to recraft the added items. Does the same happen with the starpath items? If I unlock items using the cheat will they not be added to my account? I've never used the star path cheat before so I'm just trying to understand how it works. Thanks so much for any help provided.

That....I am not 100% sure on? Some people say they carry over because you didn't craft them and instead claimed them, but I personally have not tested that yet (I think KoSDDV tested it for me and it worked that way). You could always back up your current save, load a new one and see if they carry over?

That's a good idea to try it out on a new save. I'll do that and find out if they carry over. It's not a huge deal either way but I was curious of what happened. Thanks so much for the help and all you do for this community!
