With the new version, specifically version 0.5.5, a new option has been added: No Heat — no matter where you are in the desert, the temperature is always perfect, even without the special armor.
By the way, I playing single-player game and launching directly from directory, not from Steam. Will this have any impact? When entering main game screen, I select Process yet

yes you are using the demo version, but my version is based on the purchased version and not on the demo and therefore you cannot turn it on
I added the weapon/armor upgrade to Inventory Item Slot 1.
Please don’t forget: the upgrade is only applied after you move the item.
Now have fun with the game!
(Small tip: the upgrade for pickaxes and similar tools can be customized however you like and it will be saved — but I wouldn’t recommend doing that.)

(The game does seem to change these IDs sometimes... I was unable to create a bronze ingot (I had it listed as copper earlier), not sure what others ones are changing, why or when. Hopefully this helps and if not, i can delete this post.
At least the game seems to offset the IDs mostly the same. My Cthugha stones and Purified Cthugha Stones were all offset 4404 but it seems many items stay the same offset, and the Cthugha Stone Fragment and some other gems were offset by 4415. Anyways, it does seem if you can validate the offset with other items you can calculate what the ID should be.
