I'm still trying to track down what i did with this Dealer, again, the ships available are all Tier IV+, i have NO idea why this happens, i know for sure it's a side effect of changing your ship to Tier IV+... I did another test, i changed the Ship "Price" to the lowest possible, with the PositionInRange, changed its Position to 0 then saved and reload.

I played for a while, moved from system to system, planet to planet and then i was back to that same dealer, i had to wait for new ships to be available on that same dealer then to my surprise, all his ships were again Tier IV+, all of them.

So, maybe, just maybe this "price" attribute was responsible for this in some way? i really don't know.

I'll be doing another experiment later, swapping ship IDs are possible but it will change the Ship's Passives to 0 and that's NOT a good thing, so, i had another idea, i'm planning to swap the dealer's ship IDs and maybe, just maybe, also change its level, rarity and grade, so we can edit on the fly, it would be a decent alternative to those older tables which had options to always spawn Tier IV ships.

EDIT: I finally got it how i reproduced this "bug" and it's even weirder, so, i basically got to the dealer and simply loaded the autosave the game did when i entered the planet, and this bug only occurs when you load the AUTOSAVE, not your MANUAL SAVE, i have no idea why this happens and specifically to autosaves, i did a quick video about it but anyway, if you want to start a new game and want a Tier IV or IV+ Ship very early in the game, that's the way :D, just remember to set your Ship Level to 8 and it should work and yes, all ships (except Wraith) types are there.

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

^ good find. what this probably means is that some systemflag is/got set making these ships "getting maxed". Probably scan for the level_value - before/during/after loading - could get you to that opcode... ?!

^ I have no idea to be honest, i got it working on a specific save but i noticed one thing, when the game is about to restock new ships, then the autosave method works, the catch is, the game restock the dealers every 56 minutes so when new ships appears, then you can try this bug, i'll attach both saves if you want to check it out.

Unfortunately, most tables/scripts that you could mess with the restock delay doesn't work anymore but anyway, [Link] if you want to check, i cleaned the unrelated saves so there are two main saves, "before" and "after" the bug, the before is the exact save i used on the video if you want to reproduce it yourself, the after save is the manual save after the bug is active.

I honest won't focus too much in this bug because i can't reproduce it everytime, just a few times, it's very specific, maybe i can reproduce every 56 minutes or more because of the delay? who knows, well, if anyone wants to try it, feel free to report back if you find a way to precisely reproduce this bug.

Maybe you can help @Paul44

I seem to have a lower amount of ship slots in my hangar (like the tareen perk didnt work), i tried reading your "Set Storage Size" script to no avail as in maybe a way to change it to point to that one instead.

I feel its an easy tinker to that script tho, could you give some advice since its such a specific case for me that im sure id just fix once and forget about it.

Thanks, Paul, for today's updated table. As always, your work is most appreciated. I was under the impression the update would allow us to use your table in order to edit individual item attributes. But the item editor window that pops up is the same as in the previous table. Did I misunderstand your intentions?

You can already edit Item Attributes, since the previous version or even earlier, this new version focus on Ships and Swapping IDs.

^ as #jonaaa stated, you can/could do most/all stuff already prior to this update. The "minor" difference of doing this via 'Swap Ids' is that it makes live - copy/pasting - a little easier (~ referring to swapping items ofc)...

Yup. I also found the ID list you kindly included. It is quite comprehensive - that must have taken you a few hours to compile. I cannot thank you enough!
Btw, are you familiar with the EVOLUTION catalyst? Do you have any idea where the game stores the number of kills? I'm guessing in the (co-)save.

^ "the ID list": i did not add any list, so i'm assuming you are referring to the 'export' lists ? if so, those are your own... The idea is that - if users are willing to provide their list(s) ~ one per ship - we/you could compile a unique list of item/attribute_IDs. and thus pretty much create/add any item/attribute you'd like...
('im always using excel for doing this kind of stuff)

ps1: recall that 'polymorhp' item ? #jonaaa's save had this one, so i could now add it using its uniqueId
ps2: "EVOLUTION catalyst": no idea what is is/does; and not looking into this either

That's quite alright, you have done more than enough already for the benefit of us all. I just thought you may have come across the database where the game stores the numbers, by coincidence, in your travels through the vastness of the Everspace save lol.
The Evolution is a catalyst you can put on weapons. When it's on one, it starts counting the kills this weapon is responsible for. After 100 kills, you get +10% bonus damage (permanently!) for the weapon, after 300 kills it's +20%, and after 1000 kills it unlocks another randomized bonus attribute.

^ You're on your own with this one, there are workarounds, for example, manual searches, search every kill you do and when you find the correct value, change to the value you want, if you killed one time, search 1, if killed twice, 2, and keep going...

EDIT: Plus, it's a mere attribute and i guess you can easily edit it...

^^ @Momber: what #jonaaa said, plus: the way this game works with items, you might want to check its attributes as well (as one of them might keep that counter). And: the counter could also be float (instead of 4-bytes)...
Tip: search for the current counter, then try to kill 2-3... as 'increased by' gives far better/faster results...
=> when you've got the value: press F5 (~ attach debugger) and it'll give you the opcode. if you know how, you can then add the opcode_script to your table (and save ofc)

^ Yeah it's an attribute.

Change the Kill Count to 1000, save and reload (or kill another enemy) and it's all set.
