Ok, this time the enemy is beatable. But the sprouted dmg seems not multiplied. Does this multiplier is still happening on the background dmg, but on the front it still keeps displaying the original dmg ?

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

First of all, thank you for this amazing table. The faster movement on the world map alone is worth the download. The reason I went searching for these was for the drop rate cheat, and that one seems to be a bit erratic. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong!

So I am trying to farm up some Main-Gauche. In the fight with just the armor enemy I am getting no drop at all (tried Chosen Item Drop on First, Second, and Third, and unchecked). In the fight with the armor and three shields I get a Chaos Shield drop with the Chosen Item Drop on First, Second, or unchecked, and nothing if it is set to Third.

Took several tries to get the Opal and the Phero Orb as well; I saw higher up in the thread someone posit that the code only works for enemies that begin in the front row, but I am unsure of that. AFAIK the enemy that drops the Phero Orb never starts in the front row, but I did eventually get the drop with this code on. If the code forced drop for enemy in the front row, wouldn't I have never gotten the Phero Orb and only kept getting the ??? Ornament from the front row enemies in that fight? OTOH I fought the Nightmares over and over with the red guys in front and only got the red guys' drop, but finally got the Opal from an encounter with just three Nightmares, which presumably meant they were in the front row... BUT by that logic the fight with JUST the one armor should count as it being front row then and guarantee the drop, but, as my efforts have shown that is not the case. So... just a long-winded way of saying I am not sure the front row hypothesis is correct.

tldr: Some rare drops are not dropping even with the Always Drop Item cheat enabled and trying every variation of the Chosen Item Drop sub-cheat.

Anyway, back to grinding for those Main-Gauche. Thanks again and happy gaming!

PS. I would love to see a cheat for increased enemy encounter rate to help with the grinding, but no worries if that is not possible/low priority.

HI.

Back in the psx era there were codes to customize which characters were in your party, for example just having Mcdohl or "Jowy 2" in your party. Is there a way to get this code in this version too?

Yes, it doesn't change the display, but still does the multiply.

Not quite. It's possible the codes forces the drop for the front row (or maybe just first enemy, I'm unsure, didn't test enough for that, just was happy to finally get the damn Opal when a Nightmare showed up in the front row instead of the back row, and the same for the Nameless Urn with the Holly enemy) but that drops for the unaffected enemies are "normal odds" so you could still get the drop.

It could be something else, I didn't exactly analyze the code itself, I just noticed that I only got the forced drop when the enemies were in the front upon battle start and never when they were in the back so... there could possibly be something else wrong.

Hi, i found bugs on cheat activated (im used inf item, inf rune use, & rune modify/exp modify. Then The convoy character cannot be remove after greenhill event, the bugs when nanami or other chars joined has convoy will error or stuck, pls be fix

Thanks for cheat table. i guest drummer prioritize Suikoden 1. I realy hope for Suikoden 2 update table.
Is it possible for equipment editor and major battle for Suikoden 2?

You can search it manually with cheat engine but its better if there is good table for it
for the one who want search manually for Suikoden 2.
use value type byte.

Robe : 0D
Tunic ; 0E
equip it on rotation and search in with cheat engine. After there only one than change it to any equipment you want and de-equip it. After that save and reload (you must do this)

This 2 equipment is the very first you get. For the acc ID, you can used Suikoden 2 codebreaker ID

need help again already update ce to 7.6 activate trainer suikoden 1 or 2 same can't tick what the problem???? please help!!!!

Thanks for table. Do you know how to modify leona tavern so suikoden 1 hero available at leona tavern?

This is psx code

3006AE62 0007 (This line enables McDohl, omit if you wish)
3006AE63 0007 (This line enables Millie sans Bonaparte)
D010E8C8 0052
3010E8C8 0054

The final two lines make the game read 83 character availability flags and not 81. This allows McDohl and Millie to appear. Millie sans Bonaparte has Nina's join/remove lines. In the recruit list her portrait is a placeholder, but she is OK once she is in the party.

Further PRELIMINAL testing on farming Earth Shields shows that it's not "first row" entirely... but it might be "specific battle positions" since I never seem to get the drop for fighting solo Magic Shields, (first row center position) but when I fight two magic shields (first row on the far left and right positions) I get it every single time.

Still we know it's not affecting every single "battle position" or we should get the drop for every monster in the fight, not only one of them.

I also don't get drops from Sunshine Kings when they are "solo" fights (front row center position) so it's looking more and more like certain battle positions are affected. Could still be random, and it's just happenstance patterns... need to test more to be sure.

It's worth noting that in Suikoden 1, the first enemy you kill determines the drop.
