Sorry if this isn’t the correct place to speak on this.

Has anyone actually been banned for using multiplayer? I have - my main steam account got hit and so did a bunch of my friends but we’ve found ways around it and are back up and running again.

It’s definitely nothing to do with CE. It’s the portal. I managed to activate a warning just from closing my valley at the portal, despite the fact nobody had actually travelled to my valley.
I've had an account ban, on Steam and Microsoft/Xbox,(same cloud save) I have had a couple of people visit my valley to pick up some items, that I acquired in normal gameplay,. I think there's going to be a huge backlash on this, there's already a petition on the go.
The thing is i can still submit dreamsnap.
That’s interesting.

You should see the comments they’re getting on their fb page, so many people are annoyed with them and are signing that petition. Do you guys think it’s worth signing? I’ve been so on the fence about it, and I’m not sure it’s going to do a single thing.

Probably won’t do a thing, but it’s worth a shot.

I had to make a whole new steam account, play the game and do the first task with Merlin, and then I had a save file for the new Steam account. I then removed the new save data from my brand new game, and pasted all the info from my old Steam folder into my new steam folder.

Part of their TOS has a really vague line in it:

15. Sublicensing, renting, leasing, selling, GIFTING (I put this in caps for a reason), bequeathing or otherwise transferring your account or any VIRTUAL ITEMS associated with your account to anyone;

In other words, even just GIFTING someone things from your valley to trade is apparently against their TOS. So either it's an over eager intern who is taking gifting meaning ANYTHING REGARDLESS or they really just don't want anyone sharing ANY RESOURCES.

It defeats the ENTIRE purpose of multiplayer and I've decided to stay 100% away from it for now because it is ridiculous to think that a game that lets you drop items on the ground at other peoples valleys or let others pick up stuff, has a rule against gifting of those virtual items.

100% where I stand with it all too. I’ve watched a few YouTube videos and they said that Gameloft have spoken out and said you can visit people and trade, but you have to be 100% sure that the items haven’t been tampered with or anything, or you risk a ban. What?! How can anybody know this for sure if they visit treasure valleys?! What?? It feels like that isn’t conceivable, surely?

Yup that's a huge issue, you can't tell if someone hacked the items in or earned them legit. Like players can't, and I don't understand how gameloft could unless they've got some backend code that lets them see the mount people have physically picked up/gathered/gained as compared to how many they have in their inventory, which would be a HUGE burden on servers so I doubt that is it.

To me it's just probably if someone is sending A LOT Of something at once, they are just flagging it, but I've seen people saying they had been flagged for giving just things like stacks of pumpkin puffs etc so who the hell knows.

Is the table safe to use in single player, I got flagged in multiplayer even though I had no mods on and only opened my portal and got the mail after I closed the portal, damn you dream shards getting me into trouble :D

Darn. Looks like the starpath CT option is broken with the most recent update.

Would it be possible for someone to explain to me like I'm 5 how the crafting premium items works? I've been able to use the other options like starpath but I'm new to this and not understanding how that part of it works. If anyone has like a youtube video or something that goes step by step that would be ideal honestly but i understand that might not exist. Sorry for the trouble, thank you yall.

Someone from Gameloft posted in the official Discord that trying to spread "misinformation" which I assume is anything about the bans they don't like people talking about, or trying to cause a boycott of the game will result in protentional punishment. Seems like a great way to upset even more people.
