Is there a way that I can edit the amount of Mist my friend picks up from my valley? Apparently there is a way to do it, I just don't know how. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Even if it's just a guess.

Yes, there is a way. But it's complicated to explain. You have to have experience with the json file. otherwise you can collect mist and leave the mist balls for your friend.

Thanks for the response! I found out how to do it. Now I just need to find out how I can do it with Star Coins. I did the same thing, but i got the error #201, so I had to use my backed up save file and that got rid of the error. So far, it only works for Mist, not Star Coins. Going to try some other things as well.

But why with Starcoins? you can easily get them. Give your girlfriend the fish dishes, you get for a dish 10k. if you want, I'll bring you some.

So I got two more warning both in one day! ugh and I havent been using the cheat mode or no programs running so i cant wonder what it could be :9 some people say its probably from oversharing

Yah I've seen people saying when you drop big stacks it does it....which is so DUMB, others are saying if you're on the Switch it's REALLY EASY to accidentally report someone, and even if 1 person reports you, you get a warning.

I got a "throwaway account" and did some tests.
* Using the programs in the background while in multiplayes does flag you instantly after you close the connection
* Using CE to complete all star path tasks and claiming them all in one go will flag you instantly
* If you are fully offline and use cheats, then open without and use the local save to save on cloud, it seems to not flag you

** Limited edition items/special events (marshmallows, buttons etc) might trigger a flag sooner than others, as someone I know got flagged (on switch, no cheats) after hoarding an inventory full of each and opening a market with them

So far, I have 5 flags and on the account (I might get more with testing) and I am still able to use multiplayer.

On another note, I can't for the life of me activate the flower drying cheat. I haven't seen a dried flower since August (and I refuse to wake up at ungodly hours to check if maybe they are dry and the rain has not gotten to them). Does anyone have a tutorial or a guide?

Edit: is there a way to save your Scrooge "preset"? I'm helping my kiddo's friends get stuff from Scrooge but it is annoying now with having to edit it, then closing everything and opening for one person, then repeating all that for the rest of the items. Those wallpapers will be the end of me. I was thinking if maybe there was a way to have the modified codes saved in the table or something like that. I am only helping with Scrooge items as those seem to be low risk for their accounts

I don't know if you managed to find it by now, but for the dry flowers, you just have to activate it and then you can water any flower. They won't appear as dry, but it's still working.

You have to take 5x the fish out of the here and there. and as I said, I'll be happy to give you some else.

Search your amount using cheat engine (eg you have 500,000 search that) then spend some (say it goes down to 490,000) and then search the new amount, keep repeating until you have it, then change it to a lower amount.

hi, i am desperately trying to find some help regarding something being broken in my game. I have never used Cheat Engine, but I did use a save editor. It has mostly worked great and I don't think I did anything on there that should have caused an issue, but who knows.
Basically, I was doing the quest "Fire Alarm" with the Fairy Godmother. I went through the steps to gather whatever it was and craft the Icy Enchantment. I used it and the quest now says to put out 5 fires in The Forgotten Lands. But when I go there the watering can does not put out the fires. In the save it shows the crafting recipe seen but the ID for the upgrade isn't showing in there. I tried putting the Icy Enchantment back in my inventory and using it again but that did not fix the problem. If I try to edit the save manually it just freezes up the text editors I try to use because it's too big. (I'm on steam deck) I feel like I would just miss a part somewhere and break the save because that did happen the one time I was able to add the upgrade code before it froze up. If anyone knows what I can do to fix it, please help me. It's driving me crazy that I can't put anything in that area because there are green fires everywhere. I don't even go in there anymore.

There isn't a way to give Premium Items away in a chest anymore. It was able to be accomplished originally but GL has since patched it. You can't drop Chests nor can people pick them up in your Valley.
