You can just try speedhacks while it does not work. from what I noticed,most events can be abused by resetting it with speedhack

you most likely did something wrong/not according to Instruction, it still works fine here.

probably typo/not correctly inputted the 3 values in charles/accidentally removed something there

400 Bad Request can be returned if you send some malformed request or if there's something else wrong in the request itself

so remove the charles rules in rewrite, reload them with the .xml file and make sure to edit your values in correctly.

Not sure what i am doing wrong. I did everything correct till step 5. and at last stage when u have to switch game versions it says. Error while switching versions. access to path is denied.

i was missing one step. this is resolved.
new error says outdated game version please update.

do i need to change values anywhere? because in tool game version is4.0.3 & 4.0.5 while steam version is 4.07.

the steam version is still on 4.0.5 and the corresponding gamefiles in the switcher are still correct.
you getting an outdated game version error tells us that your charles rewrite is not correctly set up or not enabled.

I would assume you just don't go overboard, edit merc souls by slight amounts, chest timer should be good, and unlocking all mercs shouldnt be an issue

So i learned that. if i touch gems or chests. i will get insta ban.

here a few points to that:

-gems(just like any other currency) can be modified but also can lead to instant bans if the modified amount is way higher than your previously owned amount.
(stay low, under 6k, and do not blow exorbitant amounts of gems like never do 5k on recruiting and such)

-chests will not get you banned unless you abuse it heavily.

-errors in setting up Charles, sending too much bad requests to the game with a wrongfully set up charles config can also trigger bans.

(account stats (profile page) and leaderboards are also a thing and if you don't keep them in mind you get banned in the long run as well)

tldr: if you power through the game only with cheating and little to no normal gameplay and/or set values way too high, yes indeed you get banned very fast.
