Can someone explain what I need to do in order to be able to use cheatengine in 5.1? I tried following this thread but cheatengine keeps getting detected and it's closing out my game. I must be doing something wrong. Would somebody be kind enough to explain this in steps? I would really appreciate it.

grab the files i linked to a few posts ago.

replace both of the ORIGINAL files with their MODIFIED files. check the readme for instructions.

should work out of the box like that.

This update should include server stability fixes and patches for various bugs from the 5.1 hotfix. Just wanted to let you all know so you can plan your games around it

*EDIT* the patch provided still works after the server maintenance.

Yes, interestingly enough the retail game didn't have its usual cache checks for a few hours after restarting before returning to normal behaviour. Like mentioned, this still works perfectly.

Strange thing, I did the instruction but it keeps loading trying to connect. Replaced both files, changed customization file in the pak archive and deleted the .cache file. Can someone help me plz?

on what/which screen do you get the "trying to connect" notice? if you're failing to connect to other players then you might have the incorrect version of the game. otherwise i don't have any advice other than to restore the original files, verify the install, then reapply the replacement files and try again.

Failed to connect in the main menu. Anyway, thank you for your advice, will try it
upd: yes now it loads after reinstallation, may be I messed up with files to unlock the armour. Strange enough, never happened to me before

I'm having a difficult time getting the v5.1 bypass to work. I followed the readme and have gone through the threads here and haven't found a solution. The issue I am having is after I launch the modified 'start_protected_game.exe' the game attempts to start, but ends up crashing right away. It also looks like the modified 'Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2 - Retail.exe' file removes itself from the client_pc/root/bin/pc directory after the attempt. I also get a "Please put the launcher in game directory first." message from Cheat Evolution somehow if I attempt to initiate a second 'start_protected_game.exe". Once the first launch fails though, I'm unable to edit any files in the Steam folder until I restart my PC, which is a pain. I would greatly appreciate some help here. I feel like I'm missing something stupid.

All I want to do is speed up the leveling grind for Operations mode. Thanks in advance, ... I've uploaded one of my attempts here ...

You need to run the game from steam once youve replaced the "start_protected" and "retail" exes. Don't run the game from the dir, go to steam and launch. Good luck with the grind Brother!
