Hey, I want to apologise first for asking this because it likely has been covered already (there's just 210 pages of comments to look through so I thought I'd see if someone had a link to the best place to look). I'm trying to set up the CT for this game and I'm just really confused. I've never used Cheat engine before, so sorry again for being slow. I'm trying to use the Crafting engine and I'm just not sure how to setup my Process List to get it to work. I've watched rubyelf's video which was helpful to show how to use. I just get an Error while scanning for AOB's. I have the game open, the crafting table open and an item selected like in her video.

Btw I have the DDV Steam V1.14.3.7.CT downloaded

I went into Cheat Engine > Process List > Applications > 000008BC - Disney Dreamlight Valley
Then load the DDV Steam V1.14.3.7.CT (When I open this window I do get a popup with two entries: Gameassembly.dll+35507C craft :mov rdx,[rdi+48] and a similar one with Memoryfromcode, in case it's relevant)
Then X Crafting but can't X the Craft Data underneath it. When I click on it, this is where I see the Error while scanning for AOBs.

I'm pretty sure I just have missed a step and am not too sure which step it is.

I used the cheat up until the last update, but since the new one (Sew Delightful) it doesn't seem to work. On the other hand, the cheat to complete all Star Paths' Tasks works just fine. Have you tried using another cheat? I don't think you did something wrong, maybe the cheat just needs tinkering around...

I haven't been able to get any of the cheats in the .CT to work. I'm getting the same error for almost all of them. Did you have to decrypt your profile.json? Or is there something you had to do to your game file to get it to work? I've honestly never used cheat engine before so I'm not sure if it's me or the file..I think it just isn't able to access my game for some reason. Does the game file needed to be moved somewhere specific? I tried the ddv.ct as well, and it just seems like it can't find my specific file. I just have no idea what to do. When I tried to decrypt profile.json it seemed to try to force me to start a new game...

You have to open first the CT Table and then attach the Process. It should work then.

yes sounds right, make sure you are using the right table version as it was updated yesterday (a few pages back)

Do any of you have the IDS of the black Pegasus and the Teal Baby Dragon?

Don't try to add these using CE, they break your collections tab....if you're using CE just use Critter Feed 0.

Soooo being a noob i crafted them…. If i did the critter feed now would it register that i had them and not duplicate the companion? was unaware if this before now, well…. Because im a noob

Can anyone figure out the address to change the Catch Without Failing fishing achievement? I used an achievement unlocker back when the game first started and now it's stuck at 99.9m.

You might need to ask someone who can modify saves to help you there, I personally had the same thing happen and ended up restarting because it irritated me so much haha, made sure to make backups going forward and just did that one with the insta fishing and an auto clicker.

I tried that, but it didn’t help. I found the achievement and changed the value but when I got back in the game it was still 99.9M.

I found the most recent one I could (Dec 4th version). I'm going to wait a bit and maybe try to see if it gets updated. My issue seems to be with the: AOB pattern (48 8B 99 60 01 00 00 48 8B F9) from what I can tell. But I have no idea why it's an issue. I was able to figure out how to edit the decrypted profile.txt -> profile.json to add some of the things I wanted. It just makes me a little more nervous doing it through a text editor where you have to be super careful not to make mistakes when editing. It was surprisingly easy to add house skins which was nice! Honestly, I don't want to cheat the gameplay much (besides possibly manually adding a bunch of glimmer cause screw timebending)-- I just don't want to get past objects I missed and unlock some of the premium objects that are behind pay walls.

Someone else can't do it for you. You can craft any premium items you want using the table a few pages back, just be careful and back up your savefiles.

So I think it's because you're trying to load it via the folder option first, you need to load the table directly eg:

Open the table FIRST(double click it - also run as admin) (DDV Steam V1.14.3.7.CT ), then click the monitor with the magnifying glass, under Applications (NOT PROCESSES), select Disney Dreamlight Valley, and then select "open", click "yes" when it asks to keep the table.

You are on Steam on PC right?

Unfortunately it wont fix it, someone however can edit your save file (or you can learn to yourself) to fix it
