Thanks for the table DrummerIX! I do have a question though, is there a way to modify the attributes of the companions and make them stick after loading? My main character stays with the changed attributes, but the companions only last till i load a game.
If somebody knows, i would greatly appreciate it!
You need to find and edit the character stats yourself. The best way to do this is to create a character just like I did.
By the time you reach this screen, you've already chosen a character and class, which grant additional stat points. That’s why some values may not appear as expected. For example, since I picked a Human Fighter, my Might and Resolve each received a +1 bonus.
To see the true base values, lower all stats to their minimum. This will reveal which attributes have been boosted.
When searching for the memory address of a boosted stat, remember to look for 1 point lower than its displayed value!
Just search and find each attribute one by one.
For example, set Might to 15, then drop it to 4. Such a drastic change will make it much easier to find the correct memory address quickly.
The common sense approach is to find the main point pool, but for some reason, I couldn’t track that down. So, I had to take a different route—but that’s fine by me.
Searching for 1-2-3 points less or more didn’t work out for me either.
Just list all six attributes and confirm that they change in the table. Each attribute should have two addresses—one for the real value and one for the UI display.
Once you’ve found all six attributes, distribute your available points as usual. Right before confirming your character and entering the game, change all values to 50 or 60 in the table.
I initially set them to 30, but weaker characters made it tough to carry them, forcing me to save and load frequently on hard difficulty. I also did this for my second character because, at some point, I had to face tough castle battles against 7-8 opponents.
There is also skills category and you can find the pool here since there is no interfering or complex algorthym.
Just increase and decrease the values and find the pool in "4 Bytes" search.
