i already try it and works just fine, but not safe to turn the health cheat on during cut scene ,it make the game glitch and stuck.
but this is good enough,thx

Which means we need to bind a key to the inf health so we can turn it on and off easily instead of alt+tabbing.

Anyway, can anyone pls help on the inf stats point or any way to edit stats and also inf adderstone... Because i tried to do it manually and sometimes it work and not working properly where it will freeze my game. Any help would be very much appreciated and thank you for looking into my problem.

just started playing this myself. super shocked to see such an old game have such good anti hack for stat points. i just cant figure it out, i can find the stat value but changing it just reverts it back to what it was

its ok, although you cant hack stats. you can hack drink bonus's but its really weird and i had a hard time with it lol

Actually just got this recently, played through then started playing about.

I don't believe there is anti hack stuff in older versions of the games, there are certainly people demoing hex editing with other versions online... however, after a little playing with the save files...
It looks to me like there must be checksum(s) in the save files for the new version (BT Remastered & Resnarkled)... as you _can_ edit your stats, as long as your total stat value is the same as it was when you saved the game (e.g. swapping str & dex will work and save file loads, but upping str by 1 will stop the file from being loaded)... also upping amount of silver or total xp will also cause load fail.

Haven't figured out how the checksum(s) is calculated and where it is written yet... tried comparing to almost identical saves (differences were, only: a slight change of character position and number of stones reduced) but found a _lot_ of differences in the save file when comparing both files with HxD.

Might come back and play with this some more later... but would be interested if anyone else has cracked it. In theroy though, if can crack the checksum changes, then should be able to edit anything...
