what CE version are you using and which table?
Why do you attach a process? just (try to run the LUA, when you are in gameworld with a char)
CE shouldn't freeze whilest executing the LUA if the proper mhypbase.dll is renamed
edit: ps. by CE i mean the copied svchost.exe / crss.exe

Tried both 7.3 and 7.4. The table that i'm using is the latest one (GenshinImpact 2.6 2022-04-05).
Steps that i do:
1. Open the game
2. Open CE
3. Open table
Also if i just execute the lua, either CE freezes if I have it opened already and if it isn't opened, CE just doesn't open at all. It just sits at task manager but it doesn't open.

so to be sure,, you start that crss.exe and not CE ( i don't want you to look stupid, just asking )
with 1. open the game you mean, you are actualy in the game world before attaching ( region choosed, pressed on that portal thingie )
otherwise that could be an issue.

do me a favor
1 - in your explorer view options make sure "hide extensions for know file types" is turned OFF, then check your crss.* and your mhybase.* again for correct naming: ie. crss.exe should be crss.exe and not crss.exe.exe
2 - redownload the newest table... we have reports of corrupted tables....
other than that i'm out of idea's tbh of how to help you

1. yep, already checked that.
2. redownloaded it about 10 times already. Also download all the other tables, same problem.

i don't know ( you on windows 11 )
if i would be you i would ask in one of the ( NOT ALL )
and if your ARE SURE having taking the Partial BYPASS procedure
- cheat engine/cheat engine
- general gamehacking
- Specific Game Discussions
for this case ( GI ) you should at least have a Mono menu option popping up in your CE general menu.
Maybe ( just maybe, i'll never ask this normaly try to ) reinstall CE 7.4 ?
