I am not sure if that works with the latest patches.
Thus, I'd rather wait for updated tables before installing patches.
I, too, haven't tested with patches, but it should be safe. I use 0 offset or anything alike, everything is searched dynamically.
(I have only one offset, which is about the data position in a .Net array, not something a patch can change)
The only reason my table would stop working is if the dev change the names of their functions/fields, or change their algorithm (but pretty sure they have more urgent problems on their hands)
Honestly I cant even find the PP application when I run it through the game pass, and trying and using CE through the process does not get me anywhere. Any suggestions of how to go forward?
I'm having issues with resources. I was able to modify the SP points for soldiers, but somehow using the same method doesn't work for resources, despite the fact I've been able to locate the value. I'm playing the Microsoft Store version.
I can confirm neither script works for the Windows Game Pass version.
Hoi together,
I was looking for some working thing for the game pass version, too. The tables files in here don't work and the only process I could find ist just called Phoenix Point.exe.
All I really wanted was the enable of the dev console that would help enough. I tried using the reddit guide but WindowsApps dir is protected like fort knox and the assembly dll file seems even to have another name. Can anyone get this console running for the game pass version with the help of cheat engine?
Important notes !!! :
1) You need a fixed Mono collector dll (in "Cheat Engine\autorun\dll\" )
- You can use mine (but you shouldn't trust a random guy on internet !)
- Compile it using cheat engine source, but you'll need to apply the fixes discussed here, so fix ReadObject, and WriteObject functions
2) The script that display soldier skills will take some time the first time you launch it, to retrieve everything from the game
3) This script alter your soldier in a unreversible manner ! You have been warned
4) It will also unlearn all your abilities, to make sure that you do not have an undisplayed learned ability
5) If you use my script to add a second class, relaunch the display script after that
After you're done, since I'm doing things the game don't naturally support, save your game, and reload
You can not change the 4th ability of the primary class, but you can on secondary one
(For the dll, password is "fearless")
Edit: Oups, forgot to reactivate "cloning" for primary class, my bad. Download new version to not have modifications on primary class propagate to EVERY soldiers (this would also affect NPC and enemies ! )
I get an error on the latest EGS version.
Something about line 748:
1589: attempt to index a nil value (global 'monopipe')
Should the tables be working on the Gamepass PC version of the game? Or does Cheat Engine just not really work with Gamepass titles in general?
I tried the latest PhoenixPointWin64.CT in the OP, but when I try to tick the option for Enabling the in-game console, it just has a rotating icon endlessly.
