When using "Use Get Selected Item (Item Box)", is there a way to select an "empty" slot in your item box?
Or do you HAVE to override another item?
Thanks!
Idk if there's a way to select it easily, but you can do a workaround by editing the value directly. Have it detect the item in the slot next to the empty slot, then on the table, Right click on the line with "Type" -> Browse this memory region. The first row is the entry for the slot it detected, and each row under that is the next slot. The first 2 columns (numbered ending 0 and 1) are the item id which I found
[Link] (pinned from the MHW Modding discord) and the columns 5-6 (numbered ending 4 and 5) is the amount. Go the next slot (row) and edit the ID and amount for the item(s) you want. When editing the ID/amount, double click the first number (so column 1 (ending 0) for item id or column 5 (ending 4), change the type from 1 Byte to either 2 Byte or 4 Byte (doesn't matter which), and then input the id/amount normally.
Pictures for reference:
A480CC40 was the slot id for Page 3, Row 1, Column 8 in my save this instance (idk if it changes with each launch or not). A480CC50 is the next slot over.
Disclaimer: I have no experience on how Cheat Engine scripts and stuff work so I won't be able to help if anything goes wrong, and I've only tested this for like 6 slots for decorations, but I assume it works this way across the rest of the item slots
