Final Fantasy IX (Steam + Moguri Mod Installed)

Post by DrummerIX »

************************************ UPDATE 4/16/2024 **********************************************************
I worked on updating this table for latest version of Moguri Mod early this year. I've also included a version that works with the updated Memoria as of 1/19/2024. I'm not sure if it has been updated past that date, but there is ongoing development work on it I suppose. Enjoy!

***********************************************************************************************************************

I released the latest version of this as a trainer in the Fearless Revolution app. It works with current version as of July 2, 2021.
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=16549

The Moguri Mod for Final Fantasy IX on the Steam version changes many things in the code, but I have version 7.01 installed and have updated my table to compensate. Most things work, but I might not have tested everything. You still have to perform actions in the game before you can activate certain scripts, but most things are working for me with Moguri 7.01 installed. Enjoy!

I think the Moguri Mod website is as follows:
[Link]

Options so far:
God Mode, One Hit Kill, Enemy Damage Multiplier, Hero Damage Multiplier, HeroCannotDie,SetEnemyHPLowOneHit (For Blue Learning)
Infinite MP
AT Multiplier, Enemy AT Multiplier
Trance Multiplier
Always Preemptive Strike
Infinite Item Usage, Set Item Amount
Infinite Magic Stones
ABP Multiplier
EXP Multipier, Gil Multiplier
Easier Enemy Item Drops
100% Steal All Items
Current Shop Item Pointers
Freeze Timer for Minigames
Always Able To Call Chocobo On World Map (Use Gyshal Greens)
Frog Options (Frogs Caught Pointer and Frogs Remaining Pointer)
Chocobo Options & Pointers (Chocobo Modifier, Points, Beak Level, Have All Chocograph Inventory & Location Found)
Pointers to Gil, Trance Bars for some characters, Time Played In Seconds
Set All Cards Owned to Max Stats,
Character Editor, Party Member Editor, Item Editor, Item Ability Editor

EDIT 1.0:
I had a few bugs in the first script I posted. Damage Modifier is now fixed in this version.

EDIT 1.5:
I fixed ABP Multiplier in this update.

EDIT 1.6:
I found some issues with Item Ability Editor not getting the right pointer, so I think I fixed that in this update.

EDIT 2.0:
I think I have something working for Moguri Mod version 8.0.1. I don't have time to test everything, but most things appear to work. You will continue to have to do something in the game to Enable some options like the Steal All Items, you have to be in battle and Steal once. Let me know if anything major is not working.

EDIT 2.5:

I found time to update this table for the latest Moguri Mod (V9) with the latest Memoria Patch (as of October 19, 2024). Enjoy! I got most everything working again except the Easy Item Drops, but I believe Memoria has a 100% Steal option you can use).

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

I have Steam version of FF IX and version 7.01 version of Moguri installed. This table probably requires that as Moguri might change different things with different versions. It was working for me with that installed. I got it from the Moguri site, it has the 7.01 Moguri installer.

Yes, I will play to a point where I can test that one and update if it doesn't work.

Any chance you can make a Jump rope mini game mod?

No need if you've got the Moguri mod.

In the folder that has the launcher, open "memoria.ini"
Go down to the "[Hacks]" section.
And in the hacks section, set "Enabled=1".
Now look through the hacks section to find settings for frog caught increment (catch one, it reads as catching 5, for example), your speed for the vivi/hippaul racing game, and the jump rope game's increment.
Set the jump rope increment to 1000, and you only need to jump rope once to get all the rewards.
Save the changes to memoria.ini.
Start the game.

@DrummerIX, I sent you a PM in case you're more likely to see that than this, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to leave this on here as well. I found most of this table to be working perfectly, but I'm either confused on what ABP Multiplier is, or it's not working properly. Is this a multiplier for the amount of AP you receive after battle? If so, it doesn't appear to be functioning properly with the latest version of the game, Moguri mod (7.0.1), and your table (v1.5). Everything else is working great, but no matter what I set the ABP Multiplier to it doesn't increase the amount of AP I get after battle. Maybe I'm missing something, but since everything else is working correctly it seems unlikely. I just thought I'd give you a heads up. Really appreciate the table, though!

I just tested it again with latest table and Moguri installed. It was working for me. Try setting the multiplier to something high like 150 and you will learn abilities in one battle.

EDIT: I guess it doesn't change the value displayed in game, but it still actually works by learning abilities faster.

Hmm... I had tried setting it to 5, 10 and then 100, and I learned nothing. After battle I checked and the only difference each time (with the multiplier set to 5, then 10, then 100) was the 1 AP I had earned in the battle. I did a fresh install of the game, then installed Moguri's mod, and nothing else was installed so I doubt something else is conflicting with it. I'm about to install a Windows 10 update so I'll try it out later with it set to 150 and see if that does anything. If not I may have to do a clean install of the game and the mod and try it again. I appreciate you looking into it, though. I'll let you know what I find later.

P.S. I'm assuming I'm fine with using Cheat Engine 6.8.3, correct?
