Unfortunately the script doesn't seem to load. Of course I'm using unmodded Steam version 2.6.1 with CE 7.0. Thank you for your work anyway and stay safe and healthy!
If you tried all the usual approaches (start CE first; start stellaris first; try activating the script while stellaris still loads the mainmenu; etc etc) there is one last thing you can try. try uninstalling and then reinstalling CE itself.
The first part with AOB scan passes, then when I try to activate Main Script nothing happens, I'll use figment pointers for now
AOBScanModule(MIM5,$process,40 38 3D C9 59 57 01 4C 8B EA 4C 8B E1 0F 84 ?? ?? ?? ?? 48 8B) //
AOBScanModule(MIM5,$process,40 38 3D ?? ?? ?? ?? 4C 8B EA 4C 8B E1 0F 84 ?? ?? ?? ?? 48 8B) // this should be correct one
You can just correct by himself.
How to use this cheat table?
Install Cheat Engine
Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
Keep the list.
Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

Also: CompactDisc have a great guide how to find them on the first page.
P.s: Just a small warning, I have tried to create a race with 4 points of ethic, and after going to the 'Game Details' page, i change it back to 3 again(to not make the AI nations have 4 points of ethics too), but when I start to generate the universe, the game crash.
p.p.s: Not reverting the number down to 3 don't change anything .... the game still crashes.

First you should rule out that your game creation isn't crashing without CE too.
Assuming something with the table is the culprit you can try the following things.
- Create a game with only CE attached to the stellaris process without any table loaded
- Create a game with the maintable loaded and only mainscript activated.
If that already crashes your game creation you can try only activating the extension while you create a game and activating the maintable when your game is loaded.

If your game creation is crashing without CE too you probably have an outdated mod to thank for that.
I almost finished the extension, but there was a stealth update to 1.6.2 and it broke things.
For 1.6.1, please just use this one for now, I'll fix the whole thing for 1.6.2 instead. viewtopic.php?p=126445#p126445

I'm a software developer, and have worked with TDD(Test Driven Development), so: I know how to test stuff.
So: yes, I have tried all that. I had already used the table for an extended period of time, before finding the civics and ethics values.
And it was ONLY when I made an Empire with 4 points of ethics that it crashed.
I even loaded the table both with mods, and without, to test if they somehow made a difference, and they didn't.
A normal empire with above 3 points of ethics still crashes the game.
P.s:
Just tried to make a race with 3 points of traits(normal is 2), and it crashed the game.
A race with 10 points of max amount of traits(had 9 selected), crashed the game too.
A race with 6 points of traits, and 6 max amount of traits, crashed the game too.
In all cases I reverted the values back down to normal values at the 'Game Details' screen.
So dunno how much help this pointers will be in the end.

I just tested game creation with vanilla stellaris on my rig and it looks like the crash issue is somehow on your end.
Fired up the extension only created a new race with 4 ethic 6 civic picks and a all the traits you can fit. Started the galaxy just fine.
Have you checked your local files for errors yet?
And to get 'completely' rid of all stellaris mods you might have had at some point:
- delete /steamapps/workshop/content/281990 and all subdirectorys
- documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris
-- delete mods_registry.json
-- delete mod folder
you also could check the crashes folder if any of the logs there give you an idea what went wrong.
