I'm looking to do some additional work on top of this. I've only used Lua a bit, but is there any interest here in regards to doing some additional digging into Satisfactory's memory to locate info corresponding to the chainsaw?
(End goal - Make a "Speed Chainsaw" subscript that allows for speed uses of the chainsaw for when you need to clear out a very dense area for trucks/tractors etc or simple base building)
I believe we'd start by the following
Finding the time calculation info corresponding with the chainsaw.
Basically finding the placeholder/memory info that holds the time it takes after you initiate a chainsaw event until the game calculates what resources you've retrieved along with starting the ending animation.
Not sure if manipulating animations in game via external scripting would be required or not.
