Re: Cheat Engine Download/Information
Heuristics can be funny like that, 32-bit in particular seems really vulnerable and even if the files are signed these AV's can find all kinds of generic or speculative exploits particularly for when it's trainers or injectors though over time the definitions should start being updated and the total should come down to more reasonable with only the most zealous software hitting as detecting something even if that too is a false positive.
Think it's increased recently too particularly for trainer or injection like Cheat Engine being singled out a bit but that all happened a few years ago though from the above list yeah you have some specifically even listing "CheatEngine" and "Hacktool" so that's not over yet from what it looks like.
Course with the amount of malicious files on the net and the money involved now with ransomware and other types of data and what not dealing with the occasional false positive is tedious but it avoids at least a good majority of the real problems even if it's not ever going to be a guaranteed 100% protected with how quickly these are updated and altered and how much there is now.
I generally use the manual installer though it takes a bit more work to set up initially and I don't think it's been updated with the little fix although it was a few days since I last checked too.

Doesn't mean that some software won't quarantive CE's exe file or files though, entire site hit here a snag with Google a while back too when it hit some uploaded trainer and decided to blacklist the entire domain for a few days from that.Post release patches:
8/21/2019: Fixed when scripts load other scripts using files in non ascii language encodings Russian translation files have been updated by SER[G]ANT
Re: Cheat Engine Download/Information
So it's warnings about Cheat Engine ("Hack Tool"), which is not surprising, and mentions of "InstallCore" which is in the ad-supported installer. Again, totally not surprising.
Are you naive and genuinely don't read the details of what VirusTotal says and then apply your brains accordingly to determine if this is a false-positive, or is this a malicious attempt at FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt)?
Re: Cheat Engine Download/Information
How do I download cheat engine? Cheatengine.org forces you to install a shite search manager before it allows you to get to the file itself.

Re: Cheat Engine Download/Information
You should be able to opt out though sometimes the options can be confusing, I tend to just use the second download for the manual version.
[Link]
(The "Here" URL that leads to the MissingSetup version of 7.0 though it's a bit more work but I prefer to use it without the installer.)
EDIT: Confusing meaning for some of these bundles in general with my preferred examples being yes and no both installing and then cancel a bit to the side asking if you wanted to abort but then installing minus said bundle, that one was messy.
(Forgot which program it was now, codec package I think from years ago but a good example of how problematic it can be though CE should have a way to opt out that's hopefully less confusing.)
EDIT: If some popup or something is preventing actually getting the setup exe there's also the Github page.

Re: Cheat Engine Download/Information
I could probably do a tutorial if he's the latter (Not saying he's retarded, actually, that was kind of mean, I know he did all caps, but still, quite mean.), how to attach cheat engine to a game. He needs though to tell me which game and which table he's using.jungletek wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2018 9:16 amAre you attaching cheat engine to the game you're trying to hack, or are you totally retarded?nightmoonlight wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2018 8:56 amPlease tell me WHY I CAN'T CHECK THE BOXES IN CHEAT TABLE TO ACTIVE THE CHEAT ?
I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN ANY CHEAT TABLE WHICH CAN BE ACTIVATED UNTIL NOW
If yes to the former, make sure the version of the game you have matches the one the table was made for. If it's the latter, we probably won't be able to help you...

Re: Cheat Engine Download/Information
Because cheat engine is the trojan! It allows you to modify games, which is basically trojaning! ^^Fosters wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 10:11 amYeah, using virustotal to check even the github version in the OP; it went nuts... 24 things found.

Re: Cheat Engine Download/Information
Is there any section of this forum which lists all the CE tables files available for downloading somewhere ?
Sorry for this question, I'm pretty new here.
Thanks.
P.S.
Let me rephrase the question.
I have found a section of this Forum that should list the tables, that is right the TABLE forum.
But is quite difficult for me to read. I'm looking for the table of Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, and despite I was sent here by a link into another site, I hadn't found a thread fully dedicated to Fallen Order, like it seems for many other games.
I will be happy if someone helps me to find the right place to download the tables for SWJFO
Thanks and happy new year to all.
