you may copy them either from Ref Settings Group(see table notes) or get them from HashDump file posted on start page.
then you decrease level of an item you swapped by 10 and upgrade it back at blacksmith.
semi-automated swapping: you paste a hash, you equip a donor, you click a CE hot key, you get your item along with perks.
Fantastic idea. I've gotten the hang of the other method, but this would be much preferred. I do have a question though: do I need to stock up on common items of the exact same category as what I want for swaps or can I trade an excess bow for a spear, for example? The first perk needs to match since sometimes the game reverts it, I get that, but otherwise can I do this?

Please check the Perk3 of "The Owl's Roost" (Athena's Blessing Pack)
in Inventory_v1.1.2.xlsx, the Perk3 is "+10% Damage with Swords and Daggers / 5 lvl"
in Ref Settings Group, the Perk3 is "+10% CRIT Chance while Full Health / 5 lvl"
which one is true?

correct one is Ref Settings, that is data provided by the game engine itself.

@topaztincture, yes, you can trade off diff types of items. Crew to Weapon, Weapon to Armor, Horse to Cosmetics. full mesh, many to may. the only exclusion is Lieutenants. Only one way is supported: any item -> Lieutenant (don't forget to unequip donor).
