What game version are you playing? - 1.4.0.5
What platform are you using? - Windows 10
Dose the cheat file work with older saves and saves from before the DLC? It works for new games and also new game plus. Just won't load post game.
Dose previous versions of the cheat file work? Previous version was working until DLC. I downloaded the new one and it was working, then when you get to the raid mission of the game it crashes and now won't boot back up.
Dose it give you an error window when you try to load the save? Sure, i attached it in rar file.
Can you please provide me with a copy of your save for testing? I attached a rar file. pass is CrossCode.

By platform I meant Steam, GOG, Xbox Game Pass etc. that's my bad for not saying it properly.
As for your issue I won't able to give you a proper answer till I wake up as it's very late and I should really have gone to bed hours ago (Not your fault I tend to stay up later than I should), but from a quick glance at the rar you attached it mite actually be missing or corrupted game files, if you can I recommend doing an integrity check or uninstalling and reinstalling the game completely, and seeing if that fixes the issue.

Can you please pm me an unmodified game.compiled.js from the GOG version so I can Compare it with the Steam one as that could be the problem.

So after comparing both files I've found what is causing the issues people have been having, there are things in the GOG file that are not in the Steam one and visa versa, so the game keeps trying to call actions and audio files mainly that do not exist in the GOG version which is causing the crashes I've also found under the VerionChangeLog of the files that on the GOG one it has

Code: Select all

special: "beta",

where on the Steam it has

Code: Select all

special: null,

which mite help explain why the GOG version is 1.4.0-5 and the Steam one is 1.4.0-4.
I've attached a Cheat File made for CrossCode 1.4.0-5 GOG, can those who were having trouble see if this fixes it

Anyways... I've just talked to the developer and community on Discord and they said 1.4.0-5 (beta) wasn't supposed to be rolled out on GOG.

The order is this (as he said):

Lachsen:
1.4.0-3-beta
1.4.0-4-beta
1.4.0-5-beta
1.4.0 (actual release)
1.4.0-1 (hotfix 1)
etc.
1.4.0-5-beta was only accidentally released on GOG


The fact is... There's a crucial trader missing! =(

So in the latest ones, it has been fixed and he (actually she) is right there.

Do you mind to fix this small detail for us? Everything you've done so far was awesome. Thanks a lot for this.

If you don't have much time, I can wait longer. I won't make much pressure on this (although I'm quite eager to see the final results with badass gear).

That explains it, good to know, but I can't take the credit, if people didn't point out that it wasn't working on 1.4.0-5 I wouldn't have check, plus other people did all the hard work in creating the cheats and the menu, all I do is maintain it, make sure it's up to date with the game and help people who are having issues. Anyway I've attached the latest version of the cheat file, if you or someone else can verify that the GOG version as been updated to 1.4.0-4 and that the file works that would be appreciated.

I'm using CrossCode Steam 1.4.0-4 but the latest trainer doesn't seem to compile properly and instead creates the following error

Source Microsoft Jscript compliaton error

Seems to be related to the menu being assigned a right colour and the script getting confused with the 3rd fullstop - is there a fix for this?

Think I might already know what the problem is but can you please provide both saves so I can test them, attaching a text file with the save string in it in a post will be fine, if you could label which save is which that would be helpful.

so far this game is great. except for the movement speed. can anyone add movement speed cheat? or jump height?
