By "Shell editing" I meant Bullet editing I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.

All right so after discovering this thread I downloaded envy's ranged weapon mod and warstalkeR's modded bowgun ammo mod both are working perfectlly but what I wanted to do was to be able to use every type of ammo with rapid fire (except Wyvern ammo and cluster bomb) With the heavy bowgun of the nergigante ("Destruction Fusillade") the thing is I have no knowledge about hex editing and even after reading and following warstalkeR's tutorial I just don't understand how to do it myself which is the reason why i'd like to know if someone could please do it for me. That's it I'm sorry for the lack of details earlier I have trouble finding my words since english is not my first language.

First of all you need to know which ammo set in the lbg/hbg file affects which ammo offset in the shelltable. I use 15 in the lbg file and 0000091B in the shell table. they match each other.

Your next step is to open the shell table look for the offset 0000091B and for the right column. I uploaded a spreadsheet aswell where its easier to see but you can use warstalkers explanation aswell. Spread 3 have the columns 1E-20:

1E - Ammo capacity -> change 0A to be sure you wont fuck up the game. Thats 10 shots per clip which is far than enough.
1F - Rapidfire -> change to 1C
20 - Reloadspeed -> change to 11


If you want to kick off an ammo type just type 00 00 00 in the columns for the type you don't want to have.

First of all Thank you very much I've tested it and it exactly and it works without problems but I've noticed that it revert the changes of your ranged weapons mod and those of warstalkeR's no recoil mod so I'd like to know if you could modify the files I'm currently using I'm really sorry to bother you like this I can even make a donation to make it worth your time.

Ps: I just want the changes applied to the Nergi Heavy Bowgun (And the rapid fire to be at the maximum value possible)

which no recoil mod ? you mean the shell file you posted ? if its that you have to decide no recoil or rapid fire. both is not possible.

I understand I'll go with rapid fire then the files I've posted are from your Ranged weapon mod (the one that double attack values add gem slots) and warstalkeR's bullet mod I've posted them because I did not want to lose the bonuses from your mod which I wanted I wanted you to edit those files instead.

So what I want Is rapid fire on the Nergi HBG and keep the stat bonuses from your mod I'll just switch files If I want to get back no recoil.


Thank you and sorry I did not know that having both was not possible.

Wait. We have rapid fire? I'm now catching up here. Do I need to mod my files or can I use someone else's? Would love to rapid fire stuff on LBG/HBG.

I wonder though. Is there any way to make kinsect buffs last long without breaking the charge blade? You could have long lasting kinsect buffs, but you won't be able to charge your blade with CB when you have power prolonger on.

Charge blade is not a weapon i have any experience using honestly. I would think that charge blade would be governed by the focus skill as that has an effect on the charge rate for gauges and i would assume the phials for the charge blade. Having just read up on it, power prolonger 3 actually keeps the shield up for 30% longer and since for kinsect it takes those buffs from 1 min 30 seconds to 7 mins 30 seconds where we have it set, it is not affecting the chargeblade phial charge, it is delaying the point where you can switch from sword, to axe mode if i am understanding this correctly. I main great sword, dual blade and insect glaive and i have a set for greatsword which uses focus, and one for glaive which uses power prolonger and a set for dualblade which uses both saved into my load outs. all of the armor pieces are the same, i have just altered the skill decorations for them to facilitate using the skills most advantageous for the weapon im using and switching the loadout in quest will switch the skill gem to the one saved in the loadout for those times you wish to change weapon mid quest.
