Re: Monster Hunter World Modded Armor and Decorations
After using Modded Armor v2, skills on the armor are still not max level, but everything else is working fine
Re: Monster Hunter World Modded Armor and Decorations
Great mod man! But like mentioned above, Modded Armor v2 is not maxing the skill on the armor.
Also, can you make a version of the Modded Armor with normal resistances/defense. Having 500+ defense is a bit overkill.
Thanks

Man! I've been lurking and keeping an eye on the progress of Squall8's table, but this is what I was hoping to really get into!
Would you be willing to put up a quick tutorial on how you made this? Or we could PM over it.
I'm interested in tinkering with the game a little, but not sure how to modify the files after unpacking the chunk. I've modded a bunch of other games so I'm not 100% new to the area if that helps!

Re: Monster Hunter World Modded Armor and Decorations
Would it be possible to have an armor mod that only adds 3 level 3 slots to every item as well as maxing out setbonuses and skills with one piece? Thanks for your work as well, the decoration mod is a god send.
Re: Monster Hunter World Modded Armor and Decorations
Golden!!! Thanks for the visual aid and for using your own mod as the example because I've been using that and the vanilla version and the game to map my way. Going a little slow since it is my first time modding via hex edditor like this, but mainly trying to figure out how to make this easy to digest visually.Idlehands88 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 23, 2018 11:59 pmKinda basic picture showing the Armor values in Hex Editor.Z3nas wrote: ↑Thu Aug 23, 2018 11:21 pmMan! Re: Monster Hunter World Modded Armor and Decorations

Do you by any chance know where the Guild card stats located in the chunk file?
I found the out/common/guild card but thats mostly appearance data. Either that or im missing sth

@Idlehands88
I too would love to tinker with this a bit, but as of yet i have not figured out how to use the extractor to extract the chunk files, let alone how to modify the exe to load the files in unarchived format therefore i cannot even use the mod file in question at the moment. any chance for a semi detailed faq on how to do this, or even somewhat basic one as at that point, i can likely figure it out? Also, using the table by Squall8, i have run into a wall at 31 armor skills (including charms, skills, set bonus and decorations) which crashes the game if you try to add another skill via decoration, skill editor, ect without removing one first. is this a max within the engine, or is it an arbitrary number set by capcom in the files and can it be bypassed?
Edit<---- I figured it out, both the extraction of files so i can explore them (not necessary for using the mod files) and how touse your mod files. lets just say having had some sleep helps immensely! Great job by the way on those mods!
