Any progress on permanent stat change to armor and weapons?

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

maybe you can help finding the real hitzone values (hzv) and move values (mv) of the game.

example: long sword MVs: [Link] (these are inaccurate estimate, we are looking for the real ones)

example HZV: here's teostra hit zone data: [Link] (again, estimate/base from older games)

and other calculations like how blast, poison.
This site seems to have an accurate damage calc against the training pole from what I've tested with different equipment.
[Link]
It also gives the effective raw and other stats for your equipment. Maybe you can derive the exact motion values from this calculator or ask the creators for their data if they're willing to provide.

And the values on kiranico.com, I've read that they're from some japanese guide book, not sure if offical.

Based on the testing I have done, Tempered Status is stored somewhere else and not in the monster itself. Here are the patters I was able to dissect so far (T) being Tempered, but yet they have the same values as a non tempered monster. So another offset must be storing the tempered status.

30 2E 1D 52 DB DA EA 2C 73 BB 73 4F 6B 1F DA 0D 99 1C 0A A4 E9 6E 00 EA - Barroth T

F5 13 CE 9D 7F 76 25 4D 73 BB 73 4F 6B 1F DA 0D 8E 1C 0A A4 E9 6E 00 EA - Anjanath T
EC 3B 46 F9 B9 2A 00 AD 73 BB 73 4F 6B 1F DA 0D 95 1C 0A A4 E9 6E 00 EA - Rathian T
39 06 A5 F6 A0 26 10 CD 73 BB 73 4F 6B 1F DA 0D 92 1C 0A A4 E9 6E 00 EA - Diablos

Restarting:
39 06 A5 F6 A0 26 10 CD 70 D3 F3 36 0C 8E FD C9 6C 8C 0A B8 60 1F B6 E2 - Diablos
9F 71 E7 FB D2 2E F0 8C 70 D3 F3 36 0C 8E FD C9 6A 8C 0A B8 60 1F B6 E2 - Ratholos
Two things, while the values are random between runs, you can still use any of them and they keep their meaning, the random key, which the game uses is contained in the part that I called "obfuscation calc values". I just tested that. So you can make a list for yourself. I'm working on deciphering these now.

And another thing for the rewards, instead of making it harder on yourself and lowering the allowed faints or something, you can always increase the reward value instead and reach the same maximum rewards that way. So if you have all the best conditions for your mission, maximum money etc. you can always set your rewards higher and still get 5 gold rewards. So it's not money vs rewards, as nearly all things affect the reward (but never the maximum reward level).
If you set those too high just to get 5 gold/5 purple you get "You have not met the requirements for this quest". You need to use a proper combination of faints, difficulty, targets, time, etc to get a good 5 gold/5 purple.
This guy's right.

There's certain limitations on 5 reward boxes on investigations; it's a mix of number of faints, number of party members, time to number of monsters, and finally tier of the monster(s).

[*] Tempered Elder dragons are easiest to sort out for 5 rewards; 2 players, 15 minutes, single cart gives definite 5 boxes. Any more lenient and it seems to decrease the number to 4 boxes.

[*]Tier 2 Tempered (Rathalos, Azure Rathalos, Diablos, Black Diablos, Bazelguese, Uragaan, Lavasitoh, Odogaron, Legiana, and Pink Rathian) are more lenient on 5 reward boxes. You can have 4 players at most with these BUT the time to number of monster relations come into play here on top of cart count.

E.g. I've got a Tempered Azure Rath, normal lavasioth, normal bazelguese investigation; 4 players, 2 faints. Key points here being time limit is irrelevant for 3 monster investigations as there's only 50 minute option so far.

Adding to the above, I've got a Tempered Azure Rath and Tempered Bazelguese investigation; with only 2 monsters the maximum time limit I can put for 5 reward boxes is 30 minutes, on top of having only 1 faint limit , if I want a 4 player party limit. Increasing any other parameter decreases the reward to 4 boxes instead.

From that, it seems as long as the 1st monster is a tempered regardless of tier, the rest of the monster in the roster's tier/ tempered state doesn't seem to matter all too much in a multi monster investigation if you want 5 reward boxes.

[*][*]Just highlight the investigation you want to edit, start setting all limitations to its strictest, work your way up and see if you can get a lenient enough combination that allows your own desired parameter while taking number of monsters in a quest into account. This has gotten me at least 4 reward boxes tempered quests for 4 players with 2 or 3 carts depending on the monsters in a quest, all of which are playable with no issues whatsoever.

Mission modifier 1 to 5 is the monster attack defences and HP. setting on 5 is almost like Tempered monster
But which one is which? That is what we are trying to figure out, also those are 3 attributes, but you said 1-5 which makes no sense...
I'd like to know too, please test this more, it's helping a lot! The mission modifiers are the only missing thing now.

Also I've done it: x-thing 1 was the map and x-thing 2 the mission rank (high/low)

v17:
-"selected investigation" editor now has many more things, like dropdowns for monster/map selection and mission parameters

Just select what you want from the dropdown list. (It won't recognize your current value, that's normal.)
I have using the table to change the monster on investigation. However, it can't be enter to the investigation mission, if it change origins monster that it can be enter, is it have any problem for it or it can't to change the monster for the mission

The "selected mission reward" doesn't work for me, in v16 and v17. Anything wrong with me or the script?
Thanks.

There's a damage meter on nexus mods (not sure if I may direct link it), simply search for "MHW damage meter".
Thought that this might be usefull for people's testing purposes.

I can't reproduce that crash. I slightly changed something in the kill/capture small monsters script just now, but that's probably not it, you can try though. You can also try scanning for the aob "0F 57 C0 0F 2F 40 64 0F 83 ******** 8B 9F" (make sure to scan all memory areas, see the post below) and see if you get exactly one result.

It is still very much working for me.

for the inv editor:
mission modifier 4 and 5 are apparently not used, so I'll grey them out. For mission modifier 1 I can confirm the effects on hp, they're very noticeable, I labeled modifier 2 as atk and 3 as def now, maybe 3 works in a way that makes weak spots more vulnerable, but strong spots more defensive, idk.

...
CE's Auto Assembler aobScan and aobScanModule, scans all memory; so I'd set it up like this when testing AOBs.

Any chance for extreme rapid fire on Bows/Bowguns. Being able to shoot clusters of arrows all at once, etc etc.

I think the two unknown monster modifiers might have something to do with size. Just a completely random hunch though, I'll test it soon if no one else does

I accidently use insta-complete critical bounties, which make critical quest Gajalaka completed too, so I cannot get Meowlotov Cocktail.
Can someone tell me how to un-complete this quest? or is there another way to get Meowlotov Cocktail?

If you haven't saved yet, just restart your game without saving when you quit, you will ofcourse lose all other progress that you haven't saved before. If you have a backup you can use that too ofcourse.
If all of the above doesn't apply to you, then I don't know how to fix it without starting your save all over. I also had this problem and couldn't find a way to get the Cocktail or complete the bounty.

Oh, I didn't backup my save. NVM I will have to play without Cocktail until SeiKur0 find the solution. haha.
BTW, thank you.

Question, was it Seki's table that allows the infinite use of traps?
