Help Me With Cheat Engine

So I've been using Cheat Engine for about 3 years now, I still don't really know anything about it. I wanna learn more about it how to make cheats on it, I know how to get unlimited ammo etc, but anything without a number in-game I can't seem to find the address for it. I would love to know how to change the speed on your movement and jump hight, but where do I start? I tried YouTube but nobody can explain it very well. Any tips on how to use Cheat Engine would be much appreciated!
