are you sure?
yes. Neocore isn't stupid enough to let anything having to do with the in-game economy local side. Even the items are backed up and compared to the server. The only way you get credits is because there is an easy to find variable stored localy that tells the game how many credits you picked up from the ground in a mission, and thus you can lie to the server about that with impunity. Fate, glory and xp are all pre-determined before you even start the mission, the server is simply waiting for a "yes, he won the mission" or "no he failed/quit" to decide if they get added to your account or not.

In game chests can drop crafting material, my theory is that the crafting material gained within a level can be modified in order to receive more when the mission is over. However, so far I haven't seen any map with more than one chest. Has anyone looked into this possibility yet?

Would it be possible to spoof the 'yes' to instantly win missions?
Yes, I managed to get more than a hundred crafting material from one mission in mission with 3 chests and same material in all 3. This might allow for a backdoor way of getting glory, by getting loads of the artificer/relic material and then selling that for Fate. However, as I am crap at disassembly, I just do regular memory checking for it, which means you require 3+ drops of the same type of thing (easy for credits, rare for materials and near impossible for the relic+ material). Go for big maps with lots of chests.

Do you remember where or which mission it is? Also, artificer/relic material don't drop from chests, you only get electro fragments/chemicals (whatever the spelling is) and blessed alloys from the mission chests.

Not entirely sure, but I suspect it was a main quest mission, since all my other ones are (Small) so far.

That's not how the xp system works ... you gain nothing from killing during missions. Whoever on the forums says that is lying out their ass and doesn't understand how the game works. What it says you get before you deploy is what you get at the end.

well i was thinking abit different. When we sell weaopons for 3 fate, there must be a client side stat, that tell the store, this items gives 3 fate. its the same with credits. So if we can manipulate the items and tell the server this item is 1000 fate, we should get it from the vendor. Am i right?
