So I have a question about the languages of the code blocks, does this use language files. Basically I'm wondering if it's possible to add a custom "CEA" language with nested Lua and what not, may be even a custom "CE Lua" as well. If it has language files I'd bet the HTML with CSS would be a way to see how to set it up.

XF2 uses PrismJS for the code editor - http://prismjs.com/#languages-list
They most definitely can be edited.

So it's definitely doable, I'll have to do some messing around and testing but I'll PM you the code I come up with.

STN, I appreciate your honesty and I'm happy to see us go back to the clearly superior Xenforo2 ;)
You have done good for the community and I'm happy about it, thanks.

Have you considered using one of the other available themes?

You suddenly don't like Notepad++ anymore? :P
The basic formatting I'd say is enough, as it already comes with syntax highlighting. Adjusting it to CEA (Lua + ASM) would be tricky, as you have superposed languages and highlighter doesn't know how to consider a symbol which for ASM says "comment", while for Lua it's a different mark-up. Simplest example: /* */ doesn't exist in ASM, nor Lua; -- doesn't exist in ASM, just Lua, etc. Wonder how you'd tweak a single engine to treat multiple programming language syntaxes at the same time...
