advance evade key
- when activated, press and hold the CapsLock key, you will evade enemies' attack even when you're attacking.
- the main differences between game's default evade and this advance evade:
game's evade key | advance evade key
==========================================
-can't evade when | -can evade when
you're attacking | you're attacking
|
-can block attack | -can't block attack
when prompted | when prompted
- when both game's evade key and advance evade key are pressed, advance evade's key function will override the game's evade key. e.g., if you want to block an attack, you have to released the "advance evade key" and then press/hold the game's evade key when you're promoted. from the old post

Does anyone know how to use this advanced evade key without having to use a keyboard? I'm using a wired xbox 360 controller.

Just use Big Picture mode to keybind the keyboard hotkey onto one of the buttons on your controller. Maybe L3 or R3, or even X.
I'm lazy...
right now your best bet is to use AutoHotKey or something to map one of your gamepad key to CapsLock key.
I have xpadder but when I make the L trigger into the caplock key it doesn't do anything. I'll just wait til you make it work with controllers I guess. It'll be so amazing if you figure out a way to combine the advanced evade key with the game's evade key.

I can't seem to figure out how to do this. But it's fine since I don't want to have Big picture mode open cause I don't want anything slowing down the game. Thanks anyways.

I have a new method for auto-evading key. It will be always active until pressing right mouse button, press rmb will disable the auto-evade, then release the button, enable it again, tested and worked very well.
Of the ones I tested in here, only Squall's on the front page had any working options, and even then only the Inf. Elemental Energy and No Magic Cooldown options are functional.
EXP, AP, and Gil are all simple 4-bytes though, which has been enough for me so far.
