Oh, that one. It's a random crash that simply happens if you have any script active, happens once in a while to everyone.
But if this happens for you all the time, then it's a problem, thou.
Working with that linked table game me an idea, since it allows to reset movement point even after agents are "done" with their action. I remember that from Rome 2 onward, there was an option in script tables to have more than single action of an agent per turn. Would it be possible to add such option to Shogun's table?
How to use this cheat table?
Install Cheat Engine
Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
Keep the list.
Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1
I can confirm as of August 03, 2020, that this table still works completely without crashes.
Well, at least, for my current setup. Which, basically consist of 3 basic mods that don't really alter much.
Mod list:
"real armies"
"no honor loss from looting"
"unlimited heroes/total cap = 0
that's my modded setup at the moment and I can activate/enable most, if not all, features within the table without any crashes. Even after them being activated for long periods of time. Rather that be on the campaign map or in battle.
I believe this has been discussed before, but, I'll mention it again.
Shogun 2 has been known to use internal methods that detect game altering programs such as trainers and cheat engine programs.
for example, usually, it runs a background scan or checks for altered data whenever you end your turn or before enter or after you exit a battle.
So, an easy fix or to get around this, you should use whatever features you're gonna use, for whatever you're gonna use it for, and disable all, if not most, activated/enabled features within the table/trainer before you end your turn or end battle(once you win or lose) .
Then when you need to enable/activate the features again, just follow the same steps.
Hope this helps anyone playing this old gem of a game.
Today's update broke the table (v1.10 Build 6115.2219313). Likely to do with a changed offset, but I don't know how to correct it myself. If someone has the time, could you please update it? Thank you!
Just decided to get back into this awesome game. *Sad noises* (loved my powerful agent play)
Wonder if there is a chance anyone actually will get to updating the table.
