Heya everyone. I posted this in cheat requests, but nobody took up my bounty. I sat down the other day and figured it out myself.
I'd love if someone wants to improve on it. This is very amateur work. I've never made one of these before.
To use this, you need to be standing on the Jackdaw. Alt tab out, enable the Camera Fix. This will lock the camera at a good POV.
This won't work if you can't get to the Jack Daw. This will actually lock the camera up close too, if you want that. But it gets really glitchy while running/on the jackdaw, and can crash the game. Works fine if you lock it far away.
There are some small cameara jitters from the game trying to correct itself.
I made this by finding a glitchy area in the sand that was a border for default camera, and further back camera...
I scanned with unknown initial value, would walk over the border and get the cam I wanted, scan for increased value (because the camera distance increased) and then repeated vice versa for a while until I found the value. Followed an online tutorial on how to make the pointers. Which was easily the hardest part of this.
I could only get CE to narrow down about 36 values for the camera. One of them helped stop camera jitters, but I'm really amateur and wasn't very confident in making a whopping TWO pointers. I don't really notice the camera jitters unless I'm looking for them. And they stop when you do an activity that would normally put you in the further back perspective such as running, standing on a roof, or standing on the Jackdaw.
If anyone wants to look at this and make it better (less/no camera jitters) that'd be really cool.
How to use this cheat table?
- Install Cheat Engine
- Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
- Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
- Keep the list.
- Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1
