does this need a new game in ironman mode? or can you use a non-ironman save?
I would think it requires ironman, but it might not be necessary to be honest. Could you try it?
I'll let you know when I have time to play. Right now on a already started non-ironman game with mods it doesn't work. Not sure if I need to have a non modded game in Ironman, if anyone else has time let me know as well.
I successfully modified character name.
But I saw the labeled "Don't change this"
anyone know what will happen? save file will crash or achivement can't be done in ironman?

Usually those values don't actually change the character name, only the label in the UI to be displayed.
That shouldn't create any issues, but in rare cases it does worse things.

I'm having trouble getting this to work. I'm trying to start a new game with mods & get achievements, which pointers should I have enabled? I've tried a few different combinations & tested with the "Hard Ruler" achievement but it hasn't unlocked in any of my attempts yet. Steam is running, it's a new save so no edits, I haven't used the ruler designer, and each time it's been an ironman game (though if I can unlock achievements in a normal game that would be great).
Hi guys, thank you so so so much for your amazing work!
CompactDisc, I'd like to bring to your attention an issue that I encountered. There seems to be some sort of conflict between your Game Rules mod and CK2's Great Works feature. I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, I also got rid of all other mods, but whenever the Game Rules mod is activated, there's no in game button for creating or managing the Great Works. I don't know if it's just me or if other players encountered that problem too, but I thought I'd let you know.
