[Link] I don't have permission to attach files, but you can download the mod here and just dump both of these files in the usual ck2 mod folder, and you should be good to go
Last time I used mods that tinker with game rules they just 'seemed' to unlock achievements but did not work in the end. Did you confirm that your suggestion works?
You gotta use CompactDisc's table extension along with it. It lets you unlock the achievements while playing with mods, ruler designer, etc.
How to use this cheat table?
Install Cheat Engine
Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
Keep the list.
Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1
just tested it out and compactdisc's beta table with sketchy's cheat menu works just fine in ironman, got a few achievements like that, even though sketchy hasn't updated his mods in a long time
EDIT: and to clarify, sketchy's cheat menu is a mod found in steam workshop, it has features that cheat engine table doesn't have

That's not what I meant. I go for achievements with changed checksum games all the time. What I meant was specifically tinkering with the game rules part per mod.
Last time I started a game with tinkered game rules like that (i.e. game rules claiming they allow achievement) I did end up with a game that ended up a dud. That is why I asked for confirmation. Nothing more frustrating than going for one of the more time intensive achievements and then ending up with nothing because of a mistake you made in the beginning. Opposed to all the other things that can make your savegames no longer elligible for achievements.

Alaunus, i created a modded version of the game_rules for myself, inserting # in every entry that stated "achievements = no". (There is also a link here in the forum)
I tested it yesterday with CD table extension and i can confirm that achievements is working, i used several rules (vassal unrestricted, theocracies and republics vassals, etc) incompatible in vanilla with ironman mode, everything is working and i already have obtained one achievement. (I was also using cheat menus in this gameplay)
I'm interested in building and maintaining a cheat mod myself, made specifically to work with this table.
I will probably do so if it's less work than maintaining an advanced cheat table.

Thanks for verifying. Maybe it was user error when I tried that a dozen months ago.
A table was updated for version 3.0. Please look at the first post.
As you can see for the list below, I had spent many many hours keeping the script for this game up-to-date. So let me know when that is not need anymore.

Hi Recifense, I just want to say a sincere thank you, your tables and trainers are absolutely amazing.
And to you as well CompactDisc, been really loving your extensions.
I also included an updated version of the game rules mod as a separate download.
It includes compatibility for the new shattered/random worlds.
Please confirm whether or not it works in your case or not.
If it doesn't work with anyone I want to find out why and fix it.
I haven't tested your version of the mod so I can't say whether or not it works, but if there are any problems then the only difference between our versions is that I removed all of the lines that reference achievements, whilst you set them all to yes (they all default to yes as long as it doesn't say "achievements = no" but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work like that too)
Thanks for the updates. In my (steam) game, leaving the wealth cheat active when unpausing crashes to desktop when the next day starts. This happens with Compactdisks achievement pointers activated + console in ironman mode, but these pointers active alone without the wealth cheat cause no issues.
Tested on a new count in a shattered world map.

I'll take a look when I get home tonight
For now, I recommend using either the console or the extension pointer to freeze the money amount.
