I'd like to use cheat engine to get the damage number of attacks, like how much the chain sword foot stomp does or the bullet damage of certain weapons. I tried the following:
1. Unknown initial value scan
2. Shot something, paused
3. Decreasing value scan
4. Shot nothing, paused
5. Unchanged value scan
6. Shot something, paused
7. Decreasing value scan
This eventually narrowed it down to 12 addresses, but I don't think any of them were correct. Anyone have some insight on this? I've never used Cheat Engine in this way.
Space Marine 2 damage numbers
Re: Space Marine 2 damage numbers
Most values should be stored as (VALUE*8)+1.ramsen wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 4:31 pmI'd like to use cheat engine to get the damage number of attacks, like how much the chain sword foot stomp does or the bullet damage of certain weapons. I tried the following:

Also, the weapon values are not what is shown on the in-game weapons page. For instance, BEFORE any background calculations (e.g. for each weapon version - standard/master crafted/etc), the basic bolt rifles damage is 3.4.
You could go in the game a shoot one minoris then die twice and see what the game tells you that you did in damage. Rinse repeat and add in a few +5% damage perks and that might get you closer.
