Thanks, this is still working I couldn't get the grouped formula to work with my monkey brain but this was easy to follow. I only got the + hex values but it worked fine by offsetting by -18, -30 and -48.

I was also able to edit the weapon XP and mastery points using grouped 8:(weaponxp*8+1) 8:(masterypoint*8+1)

You only need 1 mastery point on the weapon and some coins to get this work (don't need any armory data). When I used the paks file method it didn't give mastery points so this is probably the best way to do it imo since the update won't overwrite your files.

i'm honestly not sure what i'm doing wrong.
i follow the instructions exactly but all i'm getting is 1 singular address.
i've tried spending gold then running the second search.
i've tried gaining gold then running the second search.

no matter what i do, i'm only getting the 1 address.
that being said, the one address, when edited is giving me an increase in gold.
wtheck is going on? (i'm pretty new to using CE so idk wtf i'm doing)

Hey guys, looking to get this setup but admittedly I'm a bit lost, with 52 pages of comments to go through. is there like a concise guide somewhere to follow?
I'm really only after setting up some PVE changes to make the grind a little easier, but unsure where to start thanks.

**Weapon Perk Points** is super easy to find without that method. All guns start with 1 perk point and you can reset your perk points. is there an updated "start_protected_game.exe."? my game crashes when I try to launch the current one

Still see no answer with weapon mastery points bricking.
All versions of bolt-pistol unlocked, max exp gained - have zero mastery points. Does anyone have a solution?

do you have another weapon with mastery points and max XP? if so, i would:

0: note that all references to numbers are going to be <actual_value*8 + 1>
1, use CheatEngine to search for your current unspent perk points on that weapon (probably 1, since you've spent your points), reset perk points, search again, use perk points, search again, etc, until you've isolated the perk points for the weapon
2, 8 bytes from there is your weapon XP. hopefully it's not 1, i don't think it is.
3, test this group search to confirm that it's formatted correct... 4: weapon_xp w:4 4:unspent_perk_points
4, if that works, it means you have a working method to find your bolt pistol. you might get multiple hits if you have other max-xp weapons with no Perk points. reset other weapons along the way to eliminate them from consideration.
5, edit your bolt pistol perk points to 89 (11*8 + 1)
6, see if you can reset perk points for the bolt pistol, or what happens when you switch weapons within the bolt pistol class... basically you're trying to get the game to read that edited perk points value and lets you spend or reset the points
7, if nothing changes after you edit it, don't give up. reset perk points on another weapon and spend them so that the game records your character
8, exit cleanly (choose Quit)
9, restart the game and check that bolt pistol, hopefully it'll have your edited perk points saved and you'll have them unspent, waiting for you

It's been a couple of weeks so I'm unsure but is there a bypass for the anticheat that's usable online?

you got the same problem i had which is you missed one step that wasnt written, download the modded space marine 2 retail.exe and put it into "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Space Marine 2\client_pc\root\bin\pc" overwriting the file in there, now you need the bypass in the root folder "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Space Marine 2"
it will work fine now.
Ffs, how it is "not written", when it is literally steps 2 and 3 of my "guide"? I even ended up making paths bold.
Did all of this but my game just crashes when I boot it up. Am I missing something here?

i mean, you wanted an answer and this is unfortunately it. :P

use CheatEngine and when you find a weapon in step 1, then in step 2 you're going to:

A, right-click on the Address of the weapon's perk points
B, select "Browse Memory Region" (CTRL+B will also do this)
C, ignore the stuff in the top window. in the bottom window will be a list of addresses and numbers in hexadecimal. the address of the thing you right-clicked is in the upper left corner of the bottom window. click in there, then navigate to the numbers 8 pairs to the left.
D, i realize that I'm going to tell you that the number is in hex and Little Endian encoding and you read it from right to left rather than left to right, it's 4 bytes long, and it's in pairs so that a number like this: 04 03 02 01 is actually hexadecimal 01020304, and therefore has a decimal value of 16909060 and that's what you'll use as the XP value but then I realize you probably have no idea what any of this means and all of these words i've typed probably won't help you

anyway, step D above will give you the hexadecimal value for weapon_xp, convert that to decimal and then group search with that decimal value in step 3.
