Glad ive maxed my classes and a lot of weapons before tbis patch. But really cant play this game on the default FOV or with the vanilla screen effects. Sorry if this is a dumb question but will the EAC bypass exe have to be updated as well?

I was able to edit a lot of cost values to 0, this means 0 cost to buy perks, 0 cost to buy all the cosmetics (as posted above) and 0 cost to upgrade weapons, it also instant levels the class to level 25 after 1 mission. Probably the easiest/fastest way to upgrade everything without using CE.

1. Extract contents of default_other.pak
2. Use Notepad++ and Ctrl+F and click Find in Files (select the ssl directory), click Find all, this brings up all .sso that have these values
moneyCost =
xpCost =

3. Replace in files
moneyCost = 20 with moneyCost = 0
and xpCost = 20 with xpCost = 0
Etc. do it for all values you saw in Find all.

4. For weapon upgrade (weapon_mastery_progression_library.sso)
maxExperience = 0
requiredExperience = 0
requiredBlueprintData = 0
moneyCost = 0
This means no longer need any armour data or xp to upgrade

5. Drag ssl folder into the pak file from winrar

6. Launch game and upgrade and purchase as you please

7. If you set all those flags to 0 when you play through 1 mission to completion you will level to 25 (you might crash after this happens but it's saved)

8. Delete the .pak and Verify Integrity you'll be able to join friends again.

Any chance you could share your .pak file? I get a crash on startup when trying this (I also presume it's the client folder pak file you're editing, not the server one)?

I think the problem here is that the client pak file starts at 311mb but every time I transfer modded files over it reduces to 50mb or so

i have a work around for all our issues today with the new patch. however ive been pulling my hair out trying to unlock all the armors without running over 100 operations. if anyone has a save theyre willing to swap, or a method to get the armors from pc->ps5 ill post the method here

i know the long way with cheat engine, but i just plain cant do it. i have no idea how SM2 even starts on my pc

- Go offline in Steam (So that you don't have to download the update to start the game)
- start the game
- enter offline mode
- go online in Steam
- go back to title screen
- and enter online mode


someone should probably find an adult and get this to where it needs to be. I also really really want the armors on ps5 if anyone could share a save/method

Its the Sept 11 Patch. All others are blocked by steam

I think if someone could make the EAC bypass exe file size match the original, cheat engine may work online. The update added a check for file sizes. People on discord are getting mods online but it's annoying. Above my pay grade. Good luck yall

Changed one small thing in the file to test and it compressed the file slightly smaller. I then threw in a few dummy txt files in to get the exact same size.

Game still crashes with or without renaming the cache file. They might be doing something similar to CRC'ing the file. A meager effort on my part but it is what it is.
