I tried doing it this way but for the victoriestoUnlock cosmetic on the other file mentioned above but I must be doing something wrong because when I replace the .sso through winrar on the .pak file the game doesn't launch.ExiledSin wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2024 10:49 amI was able to edit a lot of cost values to 0, this means 0 cost to buy perks, 0 cost to buy all the cosmetics (as posted above) and 0 cost to upgrade weapons, it also instant levels the class to level 25 after 1 mission. Probably the easiest/fastest way to upgrade everything without using CE.
1. Extract contents of default_other.pak
2. Use Notepad++ and Ctrl+F and click Find in Files (select the ssl directory), click Find all, this brings up all .sso that have these values
moneyCost =
xpCost =
3. Replace in files
moneyCost = 20 with moneyCost = 0
and xpCost = 20 with xpCost = 0
Etc. do it for all values you saw in Find all.
4. For weapon upgrade (weapon_mastery_progression_library.sso)
maxExperience = 0
requiredExperience = 0
requiredBlueprintData = 0
moneyCost = 0
This means no longer need any armour data or xp to upgrade
5. Drag ssl folder into the pak file from winrar
6. Launch game and upgrade and purchase as you please
7. If you set all those flags to 0 when you play through 1 mission to completion you will level to 25 (you might crash after this happens but it's saved)
8. Delete the .pak and Verify Integrity you'll be able to join friends again.

Currency still works fine but whenever I touch the green purple or gold data my game crashes as soon as I try spending or swapping menuslurkingabout wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 5:41 amI managed to change the currency following the previous posts instructions, but I ran into trouble adjusting the green, purple, and gold values. Although I followed the steps, I didn’t realise the offsets had changed; the first value, which was previously positive, had now become negative. Fortunately, the video helped, and I was able to set all currencies to 10k, which should be enough for almost everything. My mistake happened when I initially set the main currency to 10k and applied the formula 550 * 8 + 1 for the green, purple, and gold currencies as shown in the video. Later, I decided I wanted to set those currencies to 10k as well. This caused problems—the green currency kept reverting to 20, while the purple and gold remained at 10k. I spent three hours troubleshooting, and during that time, I accidentally reset my main currency. Since it was my first time using Cheat Engine and I wasn’t entirely sure what I was doing, I couldn't change the green values anymore and thought I had broken it. But then I remembered from a previous post that the first address should be positive and the second negative, so I tried that and it worked. If the green values get stuck and you can't change them anymore, you just need to change the green currency’s first address to +8 instead of the -18 shown in the video, and change the second address to -18 instead of +8.SSDev wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2024 11:24 pmdochollywo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2024 10:06 pm
I was able to change my coins perfectly fine following your example.
Armory data doesn't quite work. The + offsets are correct and changing them does make my client think I have the currency, but spending them makes my game crash and simply quitting the game resets them again (not the coins though).
Has something changed in 2.1?
Do I have to change the green- too? What is it even good for? The value doesn't correspond to the ingame or green+ value.
Thank you so far. Great stuff
Edit: Disregard that. I was stupid and did -16 instead of -18. Works perfectly fine and even online.
Edit 2: The 4:X w:4 4:Y group search for class level also works. Restart your game to unlock the perks.
So...you do NOT need any currency to use this you can I had 2 green and 0 purple and 0 gold when editing this...
---> MEDIA >
If referencing MY video I substitute + for 1 and - for 2 FYI
Offsets for Green = + is now -18, - is now +8
Offsets for Purple = + is now - 30, - is now +10
Offsets for Gold = + is now -48, - is now +18
EDIT: Video in post for those who asking for help...

So I got my weapons maxed but forgot about having weapon mastery points to allocate - are the weapons bricked?
(via .pak file editing - changing costs to 0 and just upgrading them all..)
(all versions of the weapons unlocked, but no mastery point's so can't search for 3(25) and localise the address via CE..)

When you use that weapon in a mission, it will show it going to max level and then award a mastery point. You just gotta cycle through the weapons. I also edited my rewards so an easy mission gives 68K experience, but not sure if that is what makes the weapon mastery top off or if it was having the required XP set to 0. I didn't play legit for more than a single mission.Xelathur wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2024 4:04 pmSo I got my weapons maxed but forgot about having weapon mastery points to allocate - are the weapons bricked?

Re: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Trainer
Ok so with just 1x Mastery Point I can use CE to get the rest, which is fine. I essentially just have to play some to get that first Mastery Point it seems.lordxmalice wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2024 9:20 pmWhen you use that weapon in a mission, it will show it going to max level and then award a mastery point. I'll stick to CE instead of editing the .pak files for a bit to keep myself out of trouble lol. Thanks for the reply mate.

Re: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Trainer
Can confirm that it doesn't stay accessible after you restore the .PAK. I even set the limit to 1 to have the game award all items to me and it still reverted back after I restored the .PAKdoobiedoo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2024 2:26 pmwill those unlocks stay accessible if you restore the .PAK file, or after an update? Have you tested that by using the original .PAK? just curious.lordxmalice wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 11:08 pmDidn't see a reply to this part so figured I would share the wealth since this thread put me down my path of obsessively looking through every file.
Space Marine 2\client_pc\root\paks\client\default\default_other.pak\ssl\body\customization\character_custimization_library.sso
Afterwards you want to Find victoriesToUnlock = and change whatever the value is to 0. You do that for each set and you're good to go, all those pesky victory-related cosmetics are unlocked.
You can take it further and head on over to:
Space Marine 2\client_pc\root\paks\client\default\default_other.pak\ssl\body\customization\heraldry_progression\heraldry_library.sso
Search/Find moneyCost = and change the value of everything to 0.
Re: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Trainer
I had similar issue, make sure to delete default_other.pak.cache and also that you're dragging from ssl folder to the pak directly using Winrar, when I compressed the extracted contents it crashed instead.
Re: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Trainer
Rename or delete the associated .cache file to make sure the game doesn't use it.
Re: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Trainer
Captain Obvious here to explain. Your xp, mastery points, weapon data (or whatever it called), etc. are stored in save file, so when you load the game, there is comparison between what you've achieved and what you should achieve to get access to something, so the only way to make such unlocks persistent - edit your save data any way you see fit (edit save files, edit game files/memory or any other way).Elliott_Lowe wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2024 10:20 pmCan confirm that it doesn't stay accessible after you restore the .PAK. Re: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Trainer
game just updated and using modded game protected file to launch game does not work anymore, you can't connect to the server with it
Re: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Trainer
i changed weapon dmg and health, and cant get into game anymore ): i think they patched it
Re: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Trainer
after look into mod discord, Looks like they've disabled the cache workaround, So we need to wait until someone know how to bypass it again.
Re: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Trainer
Glad ive maxed my classes and a lot of weapons before tbis patch. But really cant play this game on the default FOV or with the vanilla screen effects. Sorry if this is a dumb question but will the EAC bypass exe have to be updated as well?
Re: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Trainer
looks like it. cant connect to servers with the bypass
