No need to do that. I'm the developer, and here's the cheat codes. They won't work in multiplayer... which we haven't finished yet.
guess - Play a number game where you guess between 1 and 4
endbattle - Turns the battle time to zero to end a combat map battle.
findpulsar - Moves the camera to the first pulsar found.
debug [Unit ID] - shows debug information on that unit in battle map. (This is ancient and we haven't used it in a while.)
removeallvassals - clears all vassals from all overlords in game map.
ishost - tells you if it is a host in multiplayer
revealuniverse - shows all other civilizations in the universe in the overmap (solar/galaxy/planet view)
convert [fleet name] - converts the fleet with the given name to your faction. Must be one word. We'll fix this.
exploregalaxy - Adds all systems of the current galaxy to be marked as "explored"
wtfboom - drops a nuke at the given location in the combat map.
davegruschisnotlying - you instantly win the game by conquest.
prokhorzakharovhasthebestfaction - you instantly win the game by research.
areyoupreparedtodietodaytomalak - generates 100 fleets belonging to your civ over your homeworld.
abandonreasonformadness - generates 30 armies on your planet belonging to your civ.
ifseticoulddetectwarp - explores all systems in the galaxy your view is in.
sunlight - rebuilds the lighting map in ground combat.
volume [1-100] - changes global volume to the given value.
gamespeed - changes the "speed" of the game in alpha. Now broken.
contact_everyone - Adds all civs as contacted to the player.
getinfo [IP] - get information of the server on the given IP address (was in unfinished multiplayer).
starthost - starts hosting a multiplayer server (broken)
setzoom - sets the program's internal with and height. Don't use this.
revealmap - removes FOW on the battle map.
pause - pauses/unpauses the game.
high_gfx - switches between high and low graphics.
showboxes - enable/disable unit outlines.
switchviewz - try a beta version of showing the solar/galaxy view from the z and y axis switched.
givewealth - gives the player 300000 wealth.
swiftvictory - blows up all hostile units on the battle map.
mainmenu - immediately switches to the main menu.
compile_level [filename] - alpha version of saving a game to file.
save [filename] - saves the game immediately (warning: Dangerous, will probablly make your game explode)
veryfastspeed - Upgrades all hyperdrives to superadvanced warp.

You know I bought the game, Dan. I use the cheats to accelerate the game's progress so I can refer problems to you. What I tend to do is adjust empire wealth, and materials on planets. It would be nice if there's an instant complete current research cheat, completing all is no fun. Looks like most are way too powerful to use in playtesting.
