Research is a little annoying. It is a float sum of the research points you generate. I have found that a Value Between of about 25-50 points will find it. There are 3, for each color of research.

If a research needs 1800 orange, 1600 green, and 800 blue, and you have 100 of each coming in each day, then the actual big numbers are pointless, as far as I can find. You would have the income times day, and can find it in increasing the value by 50 over 12 hour in game increments. I recommend leaving it paused and getting unchanged scans a few times, which can cut the junk data in half. In my experience, if you raise the value above the limit of the tech, the game crashes, with a request for a crash report.

Edit: I found that the rover gives a seemingly shifting value from 60 to 130, this number continues to randomize even when the game is paused, which I don't understand. There are 3 floats that lag about a half second behind a set of 8 floats, and attaching a debugger to any of the floats breaks the game.

If everything is so difficult with research, then maybe someone can do an instant study of technology. I could only find the on-screen value of the research progress bar. I can't find the real meaning...There is not enough experience.

i found the easy way for science. go for the days. it is a basic 4 byte number. you can set it to 99999 and it works.

Switch to VEH debugger, and you will probably have more success.

Can you explain this better? If your research has 8.5 days left on it, what value are you searching for?

if you hover over the different science icons you can see how many days each option has. science is broken down per reward as it were, outside the steady supply from the rovers. each rewarded science has a number of days say 60 or 20. each day at 00 it counts down. you keep track of it for a few days you can find the value. many rewards affect 2 or all the science options so you can get from 1 to 3 max matches update the number as you wish and it will stick. once you get to the contracts and understand the excursions you get a bunch of rewarded science. i figured it out late so i had a dry spell but now i have a steady 800-1000 science on all areas + other rewards i have not updated. If i can figure out how i will try to add an image to show here.

hopfully a table is released soon. I prefer tables over trainers, since most trainers are pay to use ones .

I guess with all the updates the game has been getting, Its impossible to get a table out. As the code keeps changing. If anyone wants you can just use CE to get money and buy stuff off the market. Seems like the best solution for now.
