Honestly, there technically is: there is a custom setting. You can turn on and off one-kit kills from in-game. Same can be said for battle and game speeds, no encounters, and there is auto-battling. I am noticing a lack of bestiary entries when using it, though; it's needed for 100%.

Where is it? i keep getting killed since i progressed so much with barely anyone leveling up

Press Start on the controller and a menu comes up allowing you to set no encounters, one hit KO, etc.

A god mode cheat table would still be useful though.
