2.0.7 - just to get new hashes and it spits out gray button so i guess this is wrong?

I'm only chaning the hashes (Step 4 and 5), did it yesterday as well. days before that, worked fine until late yesterday/today.
Changed all the hashes to placeholders and it's still stuck on a loading screen stuck like 8-10% deep.

if you try to get new hashes you obviously cant have any rewrite enabled and you need to have the newest unmodified game files in your installation folder aka 2.0.7

Guess some sort of a silent update went thru because the moment i switch the files to the modified versions it gets stuck on a loading screen.

Edit: Changed the hashes to new ones, switched to 2.0.5 and i get newtwork error.
Fresh install and i can't get the new session ID without enabling all rewrite rules... it throws safetly notice and grey button hash.. (the hashes didn't change and i've tried this 4-5 times).

when mine does this and doesnot show the loading bar at the bottom, i just recheck the integrity of the files and boom its back to good

Completly nuked both whole game folder and steam install, couldn't get the session ID anyway same error. so prob gonna give up untill next update.

I know, i saw the video, i'm guessing that something is wrong with my installation of either Charles or somehow the game installation messes up and throws me errors without the needed hashes, might try on a new account or simply wait No sweet anyway.

Yes, it will save you a lot of time because after that, there are no further changes you have to do other than having Charles running and replacing files.

but be patient, it gonna take me a while to update everything.

So in theory if I copy the POC version into a "clean" 2.0.5 install, I should be able to log in using that without running the Charles rewrite rules, correct?

Sounds very nice, although the good thing with the rewrite approach is we could (again in theory) manually modify the rewrite rule if/when the release version moves past 2.0.7, while with this approach we would have to wait for a new release (and reinstall all cheats incorporating the change)? Or am I missing something?

you are correct that the Charles rewrite can come in handy if there is a game update and i haven't updated all cheats yet. Its up to you if you delete the old rules, disable them or back them up for later use.

however you are not correct with that above, Charles will be necessary to run the old version, you just don't need to modify anything in Charles anymore after the first setup.
