!!!To preserve the sigil from being removed, edit it while it is "new" by buying a sigil from knicknack shop then opening inventory
From SigilEdit pointer:
+0 = trait 1 id
+4 = trait 1 level
+8 = trait 2 id
+C = trait 2 level
+10 = sigil id (determine name/rarity/icon of sigil)
+18 = sigil ugprade level
You can modify trait and sigil id to make it look like a legitimate sigil. Illegal combinations are also possible by editing but not sure if the game does anything about it.
Example: to make a legit war elemental sigil, take a level 5 sigil with 1 trait. Modify trait 1 to 27 8C 58 4C and sigil id to A1 36 91 DA.
TRAITS
war elemental
27 8C 58 4C
supplementary damage
10 5B AB 57
berserker
31 57 39 70
glass cannon
3B 16 A3 A8
empty
B0 E0 7A 88
SIGIL NAMES
supplementary damage V
1C 0C BB 42
supplementary damage IV+
AB F5 B9 78
war elemental
A1 36 91 DA
glass cannon IV+
F6 F5 51 61
berserker
25 7D 63 2D

How do you modify the Sigil names? Can you please share more details on that one? I don't see that option in the table. Thanks!

OP updated with a sigil editor. If someone wants to fill out the IDs for all of the traits, that would be appreciate by everyone I'm sure. Also I'm not making any assist mode scripts. Someone else is more than welcome to though.

Changing trait 1, trait 2 (to empty on a sigil with 1 mod), the sigil id and upgrading still doesn't persist through save/reload. This was tested on a base, legendary Attack Power V sigil and a Critical Hit Rate V sigil.
To replicate, change the address of trait 1 to a length of 20, copy and paste (note: this is the pre-upgraded sigil value):
27 8C 58 4C 0B 00 00 00 B0 E0 7A 88 0B 00 00 00 A1 36 91 DA
Easiest way would be to copy/paste a new record from one of the traits.
Then do the following:
- Double-Click on Address (P->3C96A07B0DC, something like this)
- In the new window you have a field right below the small checkbox for pointer, it should either be 0 or -14 if I remember
- set that number to 10, since that's the pointer for name/ID
- save it and then change the value with the one that was shared and presto, you can now change the name and trait and can create the sigils
