I see they've updated on the 8th, sorry, non-steam, i don't own it, if i'd had that version.
How to update what i did!?
Find that POWER SHIELD, find it's value then what's accessed by it, it's the first address running, then in that script update:

About coins , haven't played much at all (i'm at the first shield) and if is such a big deal, tell me where are those coins (i hope not far in the game) or paste some saved game!
- Enable Redgar։ The Space Viking after using any plasma shield, then you'll see the values, there's a lot of options i might add!
