Agreed, tried that challenge and yeah i could never finish it either

Found a way to search for powerup values in cheat engine, but you get like 78 codes but the first 4 of them affects the powerup. Tough you can only freeze the first value, because of you freeze the other 3 the game lags, dont really know why.

Anyway, here are the values :

Think you quoted the wrong one, this one only works with Luigi, tested it. Theres another one that works for all characters.

The one I linked seems to work on all my guys. Weird. Maybe it's because I chose Luigi and used him first, completed a level, then it was working for everyone, including Yoshi.

I find high jumps to be super annoying. I'd rather have the choice to play normal or cheat when wanted with something like an unlimited space jump. This works with v1.0:
